“We are presenting our Equinox gaming machines, with multiple titles, such as Pink Panther, our new Game Champ and the popular Bats, cats and hats” first introduced Deron Hunsberguer, VP of sales in Shuffle Master.
When asked why they decided to present these slots, we answered: “We made a decision that we wanted to focus more on our EGM products for the Peruvian market. The shufflers, chippers and other products are currently working very well in Latin America, but we are so committed to providing these products to this market that we felt we should get al little more attention on our EGMs this show”.

“We had never exposed in this show, and we felt that it was very important to get close to our customers, show this product that we have, and be able to make it more successful in the market”, said referring to the PGS exhibition.

In Peru, the gaming regulator imposed that all casino operators must use an online system to control their transactions. Soloazar asked Hunsberger how it has changed Shuffle Masters sales. He answered: “MINCETUR’s decision affected us in a positive way. This is our first entry into the market with the new Equinox Cabinet, all SAS compatible, so we are counting on a time where there is going to be greater demand for replacement and looking for products that meet the new regulations, just like ours”.

He continued addressing on future plans for the region. “We have a lot of great plans in Latin America, the first one is bringing Juan Pablo Irarrazaval as a General Business Manager for South America, that means bringing a greater commitment to our customers in that area. With Juan Pablo coming onboard, we will be adding services and personnel to be sure we will be meeting our customer’s needs”, he commented.

The Vice President of Sales concluded: “We have new products in the table and slot sides that we are going to introduce to this market. We have progressives that have performed excellently in other places, so it is a product that we are excited to bring to Latin America”. “Besides, there is our Equinox Cabinet that was first installed in Argentina, and we are in the process of securing orders in Chile, Peru, Panama and Colombia”, he commented.
