(Chile).- Social crisis that hits Chile since October 18th affects deeply many economic and financial sectors. One of the most affected industries is tourism, because many people started to cancel their reservations because they were afraid of being involved in violent episodes.

Chile casinos launch new promotions in order to reboost tourism

The outbreak in Chile has had a global effect, and videos showing the clash between protesters and guards captured Internet very fast.

To understand how far the crisis hits, according to the Undersecretary of Tourism a 40 percent cancellation rate has been reached. Of that figure, 75 percent corresponds to Chilean tourists and the rest to foreigners.

Due to this serious phenomenon, the country's image has plummeted and the sector's concern is a lot. However, despite the negative scenario, some ideas have emerged that could contribute much to boost tourism in the coming months and especially for the winter season.

The Federation of Tourism Entrepreneurs (Fedetur) is one of the organizations that most concern demonstrates and that is why it has reacted with proposals to the alarming figures of the fall of the industry and especially after President Sebastián Piñera decided to order the suspension of the UN COP25 summit on climate and the Asia Pacific Cooperation Forum, both events that were to be held in the capital.

Perhaps the most important action for tourism carried out so far in the framework of the dramatic situation that Chile is experiencing is the launch of the Fedetur campaign whose slogan is: "2020 I get under 20".

The idea of the crusade is to offer a set of promotions that include a 20 percent discount to users in accommodations, stays, consumption and more during the summer months. Fear, of course, is an increase in unemployment in terms of the sector.

In tune, hotels with casino have also reduced rates on all their services to promote a revival of the sector. The casinos in Chile are a very important entry of money because they are attended by both Chileans and tourists from abroad who come to the country to recreate between landscapes and tables of roulette and blackjack.

But not only traditional casinos have reacted. The online gaming industry has also aroused its creativity and has begun to offer benefits for new players, loyal users and seasonal promos.

Piggy Bang Casino - New Casino in Chile: this is a clear example of the reaction of a gambling hall in an unfavorable context. The online casino offers free spins for slots without wagering requirements and reimbursement of a percentage of what your users bet, win or lose.

In this way, along with other operators, they invite Chilean players to have a good time, with benefits and zero abuse. Together, all sectors related to tourism have put the crisis on their shoulders to return to the country their times not so distant from splendor.

The bordering countries next to Brazil are the immediate focus of attention for the revival, as demonstrated by the Undersecretary of Tourism by calling ambassadors and consuls of the region, Europe, China and North America to give an overview about the centers Tourists from Chile and their situations.
