Okada Manila Launches "Ariake" a New VIP Gaming Club for Japanese Players

(Manila).- The exclusive venue expands the resort’s premium gaming strategy with tailored services, private gaming spaces, and Japanese-inspired hospitality.
Okada Manila has strengthened its premium gaming portfolio with the launch of Ariake, a new exclusive gaming club created specifically for Japanese VIP guests at the Manila-based integrated resort.
The new venue is located on the upper ground floor at the VIP Hotel Lobby, next to the Pearl Wing Lobby, and is part of the company’s broader strategy to enhance its appeal among international high-end players.
Exclusive Gaming and Personalized VIP Experience
According to the company, Ariake launches a curated selection of table games alongside premium gaming machines designed for VIP customers. The gaming club also includes a private table games salon aimed at delivering a more intimate and personalized gaming experience.
The venue provides 24-hour membership counter and cage services supported by Japanese-speaking staff, reinforcing the resort’s commitment to customized hospitality for Japanese visitors.
In addition to gaming, Ariake features a dedicated bar and a 24-hour buffet dining service serving Japanese cuisine. The space can also host private gatherings and exclusive events for premium guests.
Focus on the Japanese Premium Market
Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment Inc, the promoter of Okada Manila and a subsidiary of Universal Entertainment Corp, said the launch reflects the resort’s continued focus on international premium segments.
Shirley Tam, Executive Vice President for Casino Marketing at Okada Manila, stated: “As we continue to evolve Okada Manila into a truly global integrated resort destination, we are deepening our focus on understanding and anticipating the unique preferences of our international guests, particularly the Japanese market.”
She added: “Ariake reflects our philosophy of thoughtful customisation, where we combine insight-driven design with cultural sensitivity to create experiences that feel both familiar and elevated.”
Okada Manila’s Recent Gaming Performance
The launch of Ariake comes shortly after Okada Manila reported a 17.2% year-on-year decline in casino gross gaming revenue (GGR) for the first quarter of 2026, totaling PHP6.47 billion (US$108.1 million).
Despite the annual decrease, the property recorded a 9.1% increase in GGR compared to the fourth quarter of 2025, signaling sequential recovery in gaming activity.
