(Malta).- Soft2Bet unveils "Lodur" its new brand.
Soft2Bet launches Lodur, a new Swedish casino and sportsbook brand, that turns Norse legend into a modern, local-first experience. Inspired by Vikings, fjords and Norse mythology, the Soft2Bet’s brand pairs a smooth, familiar player journey with Swedish-facing details that help users feel at home from the moment they sign up.
From payments to content, Lodur is tuned to how Swedish players enjoy a frictionless gaming experience tailored to local preferences. The platform includes local payment methods, prioritises the sports events Swedish fans follow most closely, and introduces localised Live Slots, bringing live dealer entertainment into a Swedish-first presentation across desktop and mobile.
Lodur’s defining feature is its Island system, a persistent progression layer that continues between gameplay sessions. Alongside sports betting and casino play, users develop their own island settlement, building new structures and upgrading existing ones to expand their capabilities.
The Island system in Lodur is powered by social casino mechanics. Players earn resources through social casino gameplay, then spend those resources to construct buildings, strengthen their settlement and unlock further progression. Each upgrade creates new goals and new rewards, turning short sessions into long-term advancement.
In Soft2Bet’s Lodur, competitive play is driven by a PvP simulation that introduces rivalry and repeat play. Players can attack other islands, defend their own settlement and test tactics as they grow. With no fixed endpoint, Lodur is designed for infinite progression, where building, raiding and upgrading combine into an ongoing loop.
Lodur is powered by MEGA (Motivational Engineering Gaming Application), Soft2Bet’s engagement engine, which adds missions, challenges, and narrative journeys to the casino and sportsbook, helping brands deepen retention through play that feels purposeful and rewarding.
Yoel Zuckerberg, Chief Product Officer at Soft2Bet, stated: “Lodur shows what our product toolkit can do when Soft2Bet’s MEGA is applied to social mechanics and PvP progression. We have built a journey that keeps players building, competing and returning to Lodur, without adding friction to the core experience.”
With Lodur, Soft2Bet continues to invest in brands that are local by design, combining strong creative identities with high-quality UX, performance-led delivery and compliance-by-design, giving players a safe and accommodating experience that fits their market.
