(Volčja Draga).- Spintec and Blueprint are set to make a significant impact at this year’s EAG Expo with the debut of a fully certified automated roulette developed exclusively for the UK B3 market, marking the first mechanical roulette to successfully enter this segment with multiple live installations.
Innovation in the UK’s low- to mid-stakes casino sector takes a new step forward as Spintec and Blueprint unveil a product created specifically for the B3 category. Presented at the EAG Expo, the new automated roulette represents a market first: a mechanical roulette engineered from the ground up to meet B3 technical, regulatory, and player expectations.
Already installed in 12 locations across the UK, the game blends the familiar rhythm of virtual roulette with the authenticity of a real mechanical wheel. The result is a hybrid experience designed to feel instantly recognizable to players while offering a tangible casino-style interaction not previously available in this segment.
Mechanical authenticity with virtual pacing
The new roulette has been built around the core elements players already appreciate in B3 and B4 virtual roulette products. Fast game cycles, an intuitive pre-game spinner, and a smooth, predictable flow form the backbone of the experience. What sets it apart is the addition of a physical wheel, which introduces a tactile and visual authenticity while still supporting shorter cycles and higher engagement.
By combining mechanical gameplay with the pace and usability of virtual formats, Spintec and Blueprint aim to deliver a product that feels both immersive and operationally efficient for arcade and gaming centre operators.
Alongside the core launch, the companies will also introduce Hotspot Roulette at EAG Expo. This alternative roulette variant can be played in place of the standard game and features a wide range of bet multipliers. While designed to heighten player excitement, it operates at a lower RTP than traditional roulette, making it particularly appealing from an operator profitability standpoint.
Industry reactions and strategic vision
Nadia Timofeev, Director of Operations at Blueprint Operations, highlighted the collaborative nature of the project and its early market response: “Partnering with Spintec has let us create something genuinely exciting — a product that brings real casino energy into AGCs. We’ve put in the work, listened to the market, and built something that players love and operators are already seeing pay off in revenue and footfall. And this is just the start. The roadmap ahead is packed with even more developments, and I can’t wait for what’s coming next.”
From a product development perspective, Spintec views the launch as filling a long-standing gap in the UK market. “From the beginning, our vision was clear: bring true mechanical gameplay into a market where it had never existed,” said Erik Pegan, Product Manager at Spintec. “In the UK B3 sector, players had long experienced virtual roulette, but no one had ever delivered a mechanical alternative that met the same expectations for pace, engagement, and reliability. We took advantage of that gap and created something new and very exciting.”
Expanding Spintec’s UK footprint
For Spintec, the launch also reinforces its broader ambitions in the UK. The company has been steadily expanding beyond the B3 segment and into larger-scale casino installations.
“The UK market is of strategic importance to us,” stated Goran Sovilj, Global Sales Director at Spintec. “We are proud to have already established a strong presence in the B3 segment and to be steadily expanding into the casino market, with larger ETG installations now operating in Aberdeen and Milton Keynes. Our presence is growing and we are very excited for all the innovations that we will be introducing in the upcoming years.”
With certified deployments already live and further innovations on the roadmap, the Spintec–Blueprint collaboration positions mechanical roulette as a new growth driver within the evolving UK B3 gaming landscape.
