Astralis complete major three-peat at Berlin Major

(Germany).- Astralis picked up their third straight major title on Sunday by beating AVANGAR 2-0 in the grand final of the StarLadder Berlin Major.
Astralis, who won the FACEIT Major in September 2018 in London and IEM Katowice in March, will take home $500,000 for the first-place finish. It was also the fourth major for this Astralis roster, which also won ELEAGUE Major Atlanta in 2017. AVANGAR, a Kazakhstan outfit that earned the No. 5 seed, pockets $150,000 for the runner-up finish.
On the first map, Inferno, Astralis jumped ahead 12-3 before cruising to the 16-6 victory. The Danes quickly took the lead on the second map, Dust 2, as well. They jumped ahead 11-4 before rolling to the 16-5 victory and the title.
