Fnatic edge Vitality to capture DreamHack Masters Malmo title

(Sweden).- Fnatic took top honors Sunday at DreamHack Masters Malmo with a 2-1 series win over Team Vitality in the Grand Final of the $250,000 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event.
With the win, Fnatic earned the $100,000 first-place prize and a berth in the $500,000 Intel Extreme Masters Season XIV World Championship, scheduled for Feb. 25-March 1 in Katowice, Poland.
Vitality opened with a narrow 16-14 win on Dust 2 before Fnatic rallied back with a 19-16 overtime win on Inferno. Fnatic wrapped the best-of-three series with a 16-13 win on Mirage.
Fnatic celebrated their win on social media by announcing, "WE. ARE. BACK."
