SBC Summit Americas 2025: A crucial event for the gaming industry

“The SBC Summit Americas 2025 is a crucial event for the gaming industry throughout the Americas. As the CEO of 21VIRAL, we are a games aggregator solution provider focused on Latin America, and my attendance is essential to maintain our leading position in the market”, said Härtel.

21VIRAL: Partnerships with operators and providers in Latam

When asked about the key areas of interest, he answered: “My key interests at the summit included strengthening strategic partnerships with operators and game providers active in Latin America, obtaining direct updates on evolving regulatory frameworks in significant regional markets, and discovering innovative game content from emerging studios that resonates with Latin American players. Additionally, we aim to assess technological advancements that are relevant to our operational needs in the region.”

AI and blockchain and other key technologies

“New technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain offer significant opportunities for the gaming and betting industry”, Härtel assured.

“AI can enhance player experiences through improved personalization, increase operational efficiency using advanced data analytics, and strengthen security with sophisticated fraud detection systems. Meanwhile, blockchain enhances transaction transparency and game outcomes, which can help build greater player trust. It also enables new economic models in gaming”, he added.

He then explained how 21VIRAL incorporates these new technologies: “At 21VIRAL, we incorporate AI into our workflows for onboarding new customers and improving overall efficiency. We are assessing how these technologies can further optimize our aggregation services and provide superior value to our operator partners and their players across Latin America, with a focus on practical applications that enhance integrity and engagement.”

Regulatory advancements in Brazil and Peru

“The sessions have provided valuable insights across the board. The panel on regulatory advancements in key Latin American countries, particularly Brazil and Peru, was very informative and offered important updates for our strategic planning at 21VIRAL,” said the CEO.

Additionally, he underlined that exhibits showcasing innovative game mechanics from studios targeting emerging Latin American markets were noteworthy. “These innovations reflect a deeper understanding of regional player preferences, which is essential for us as an aggregator aiming to deliver the most relevant and engaging content. By evaluating these aspects, we can refine our offerings and better serve our operator partners across the continent.”

SBC Summit Americas highlights the swift evolution of regulations in LATAM markets

“The main takeaway from the SBC Summit Americas is the rapid acceleration of regulatory changes in key Latin American markets. This insight will shape how 21VIRAL approaches its market strategy. It highlights the importance of continuously engaging with these evolving legal frameworks. To enhance our business, we will strengthen our internal regulatory intelligence and prioritize partnerships with operators who demonstrate strong compliance and a deep understanding of local markets.
