“All the most important companies of the sector have reconfirmed their participation at ENADA Spring”
⏱ 2 min read
(Rimini, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Before the opening of the 31st edition of ENADA Spring (Rimini, Italy, from 13th to 15th March 2019), SoloAzar spoke exclusively with Mrs Orietta Foschi, the brand manager of Enada Spring, about the expectations for the show and the Italian market, among other topics.
What are the expectations for the next edition of ENADA?
Rimini will be once again the gaming capital from 13th to 15th March 2019, with the 31st edition of ENADA Spring, the leading expo for trade members from southern Europe and the Mediterranean area. Organized by Italian Exhibition Group and promoted by SAPAR (Italy´s National Association of Public Recreational Attraction Equipment), with the support of EUROMAT and the collaboration of the sector´s major trade associations.
All the most important companies of the sector have reconfirmed their participation. The entire gaming industry will take part, ensuring a unique opportunity for discovering innovations, products, format and new regulations. Exhibition space has increased thanks to Rimini Amusement Show, the reference event for games without cash prizes, held simultaneously with Enada.
How many exhibitors are confirmed? And how many visitors wait in this edition of the event?
More than 200 Italian and foreign companies will take part in Enada. We expect about 25,000 visitors over the 3 days of the event.
What novelties will have the show this year?
We have created a focus called ENADA NEXT to spotligh the technological innovation of the new gaming platforms. We will help the exhibiting companies to promote their products using our promotional media: press releases, web site, social media, communication inside the expo and so on. The gaming world changes quickly and companies want to keep up with the times, anticipating trends
We will even talk about e-Sports as an opportunity for gaming rooms, since the phenomenon of electronic sports, better known as ´eSports´, is getting more and more important also in Italy.
What is the content of the conferences this year?
Updating will play a key role: the ENADA Academy program will dedicate an ample space to discussions and event for networking on the hottest current topics, such as the new rules and regulations that will control the sector, communication and interaction at the European level.
We will bring together the main trade associations and try to identify an inclusive proposal that to be submitted to politicians and institutions.
How is the current market in Italy?
The gaming & amusement industry in Italy produces takings of over 100 billion euros, employs at least 300,000 staff and ensures the Government revenue to approximately 10 billion euros. Nevertheless, the domestic demand is stagnant because the government has announced the reorganization of public gaming that provides for the rationalization of the market.
For this reason, we will widen the international horizon introducing the international buyers’ platform that enables all the exhibiting companies to increase their contacts. The 14 countries involved for the 2019 edition are: Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Tunisia and Algeria.
The new feature rewards the initiative of IEG, in its role of business facilitator, fundamental in this period of stagnant domestic demand.
