Amusnet and the Future of iGaming in Mexico: An Interview with Andrea Bustos
⏱ 3 min read
(Mexico City, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Amusnet recently participated in SiGMA North America in Mexico City, a key hub connecting the North American and LATAM iGaming markets. In this interview, Andrea Bustos, Amusnet Account and Commercial Manager for LATAM, shares valuable insights into the company's localized growth strategies, successful product showcases, and their vision for building long-term, collaborative partnerships across the region.
A Strategic Presence in Mexico
In an exclusive interview, Andrea Bustos talked about Amusnet's experience at SiGMA North America. "For Amusnet, SiGMA North America was an excellent opportunity to strengthen our local presence and continue building relationships with operators and partners from both Mexico and across Latin America.
The most valuable part was having face-to-face conversations with our clients and potential partners, gaining a better understanding of their needs, and discussing concrete growth opportunities. Mexico is a strategic market for Amusnet, and events like this allow us to reinforce our commitment to the market and to our local partners".
Building Collaborative Partnerships
“We had very specific conversations with operators around integrations, new game launches, acquisition strategies, marketing, and product positioning,” Bustos said, and added: "We also identified opportunities to work more collaboratively with our clients by tailoring our proposals to the specific needs of each operator. For us, the real value lies in moving beyond a purely commercial relationship and building joint, long-term growth plans together.
Mexico as a Regional Bridge
With regard to the country's potential fit into Amusnet’s overall growth strategy for LATAM, she explained the following: "We see Mexico as one of the most important markets for Amusnet's growth in Latin America. It is a market with highly relevant operators, a large player base, and an ecosystem that continues to evolve.
Mexico also plays a very interesting role as a connection point between North America and Latin America. Our strategy is to continue strengthening our local presence, work increasingly closely with operators, and offer not only our game portfolio, but also solutions, commercial support, and marketing strategies that help our partners grow.
We strongly believe in a long-term vision for Mexico and want to continue establishing ourselves as a strategic partner for operators across the country."
Showcasing Tailored Innovations
"At Amusnet, we offer a broad portfolio of content, including slots, jackpots, and other solutions designed to meet different player profiles and operator needs.
In Mexico, we are placing a particular focus on products that can drive engagement and player retention, such as our jackpot solutions. For example, Jackpot Boom, with its five-jackpot structure, offers a differentiated proposition for operators while creating new prize opportunities for players.
Our goal is to understand what works best for each market and each operator, and to support our product launches with positioning, marketing, and acquisition strategies," Bustos said.
Looking Ahead in Latin America
Facing the future, Bustos anticipated the following: "Our next step is to continue deepening our presence in Mexico while expanding strategically across Latin America. We want to keep working closely with our existing operators, accelerate new integrations, and create more opportunities for commercial and marketing collaboration.
We are also closely monitoring the evolution of the Mexican market, particularly new trends in acquisition, engagement, and content personalization.
For Amusnet, the goal is not simply to enter new markets, but to build sustainable relationships with our partners and become a strategic ally in their growth. Mexico will continue to be a key part of our regional strategy," she concluded.
