(Mexico City, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Martha Lucia Rivillas Salcedo, director for Colombia at ASAP Americas, shared with SoloAzar an in-depth look at the company's participation in GAT Mexico. From strategic meetings with key players in the sector to addressing challenges in the import process, ASAP reaffirms its commitment as a leading logistics partner in the Latin American gaming industry.
ASAP: Meetings with Clients, Friends, and Colleagues at GAT Mexico
“Our experience as ASAP was truly excellent. Considering the first edition in Mexico City, it featured a large attendance of key figures in the gaming industry, an excellent academic agenda that allowed us all to better understand the current state of the gaming industry in this beautiful country, Mexico. But most importantly, it was the perfect environment to reconnect with clients, friends, and colleagues, and enjoy everything that the GAT trade show brings,” said Rivillas Salcedo about the recent experience.
Import Processes in Mexico
“ASAP was a very active participation. It allowed us, along with our panelist, Mr. Gerardo, to contribute information about customs, giving us an overview of the import processes in Mexico and its current issues. It also allowed us to provide the industry with strategies for their import processes.”

Request for approval of automatic import notices
“In our area of international logistics and import processes, there is a major challenge: deciphering why automatic import notices are not being issued for gaming machines, since the product itself has no restrictions and is freely imported. However, for a year now, they have not approved arrival notices, leaving no customs agent involved in the process. At ASAP, we will initiate the request for these arrival notices, and together with experts in the customs sector, we will take steps to break the silence on this matter and ensure this directive is a reality.”
ASAP seeks to be the preferred logistics partner in the gaming industry
“At ASAP, we have a reach throughout the Americas in terms of import and export logistics, allowing us to support all manufacturers in introducing their products to the different countries in the Americas in compliance with all legal regulations. We therefore seek to be the preferred logistics partner for the industry.”
ASAP Accompanies Brands at Their Exhibitions
"The goals achieved during this edition were to continue consolidating ourselves as a logistics company recognized by the industry, to understand the problems of the Mexican market, and to explore the possibility of finding solutions. Furthermore, we are also able to continue supporting the various brands at their exhibitions and screenings in different Latin American markets.”
"We are grateful to SoloAzar for their support and coverage of all the gaming events worldwide. It is worth highlighting the innovative nature of their interviews, their fresh approach to the public, and their way of showcasing industry innovations, with a touch of humor and immersion in the culture of each country, which is unique and innovative,” concludes the Colombian director of ASAP Americas.
