(Barcelona, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Maria Bashkevich, Head of Marketing at Uplatform, granted an interview to SoloAzar, in which she talked about the highlights of their performance at the recent SBC Summit Barcelona show, their goals in the Spanish market, among other things.
How was your experience at this edition of the SBC Summit Barcelona?
SBC Summit Barcelona was nothing short of fantastic. It was a remarkable gathering of industry professionals, and the energy and enthusiasm were palpable. I strongly believe that the SBC Summit will become one of the leading global events.
We are delighted with Uplatform’s results of the event from both the marketing and partnership sides. Our stand was constantly buzzing with productive meetings with new and existing partners and with good friends of Uplatform who stopped by to play our games and try our fantastic frozen yogurt. Our goal, as always, went beyond merely showcasing our comprehensive solutions and robust portfolio. We aimed to introduce the people behind Uplatform and foster a sense of camaraderie. This friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere at our stands reflects the experience our partners have when working with us.

Could you briefly summarize your participation in the event, in terms of the products that most attracted the public's attention, the conferences you attended, and if you were nominated for any awards?
SBC Barcelona was full of possibilities - from our shortlisting in SBC Awards as esports provider of the year to our insightful discussions with industry leaders.
At SBC Summit Barcelona, we showcased our latest products, particularly our innovative Casino Aggregator. It garnered a lot of attention for its ability to provide a diverse range of gaming content to operators.
And, of course, our platform, in general, was in high demand as we’ve shown to operators its fullness and compatibility with market needs. But what really makes us stand out from the competition is the results of our client-oriented and success-driven approach. This event reinforced our commitment to providing tailored solutions that drive outstanding results for our partners.
What new opportunities did your firm find within the Spanish market?
The Spanish market has been undergoing dynamic evolution, and we've recognized numerous promising opportunities within it. However, SBC Summit, being primarily an international event, directed our focus towards other regions, such as LatAm and Asia. These regions have displayed mind-blowing potential, and we're immensely excited about the partnerships we're cultivating and the growth we're witnessing in these thriving markets.

What were the popular trends in the Spanish or European iGaming market, and how do these trends affect Upltaform?
One prevailing trend in the European iGaming market is the focus on player-centric experiences. Regulatory changes are pushing operators to enhance user satisfaction and safety. This aligns perfectly with our philosophy of using technology to create engaging and secure gaming environments. Additionally, the integration of emerging technologies like AI and blockchain is gaining traction, and we're actively exploring ways to incorporate these into our solutions.
What are the firm's plans for the rest of the year, and can you tell us about any upcoming shows you'll be attending?
For the remainder of the year, we're committed to further enhancing our product offerings and expanding our presence in key markets. We'll continue to focus on innovation, especially in the world of AI-driven solutions.
Our team looks forward to attending various industry events to stay updated on market trends and connect with industry peers. For example, SiGMA Malta is now on our radar, and with its impressive new venue, this event is poised to play a crucial role in our growth and success within the iGaming sector. So, if you plan to attend this remarkable event, don’t be shy and say hi at our stand. I’d be happy to meet readers of our favorite Soloazar.
If you're interested in joining our dynamic team and contributing to our growth, we'd love to hear from you! Send your CV to hr@uplatform.com. Join us in creating something amazing! ;)
