(Barcelona).- The COVID-19 pandemic may have forced the global gaming industry to alter its operations, but it didn’t keep companies from innovating. As the gambling ecosystem continues to rebound, ongoing events, seminars and presentations are proving to be more vital than ever.

Betcris CEO JD Duarte to speak at upcoming SBC Summit Barcelona

They give operators and industry insiders the opportunity to stay abreast of the changes being introduced, and SBC will hold one of the few live events for the gaming space next month. The SBC Summit Barcelona is coming up in September, bringing together leaders and experts from the industry to discuss the latest movements. JD Duarte, the CEO of Betcris and a pioneer in the sports betting industry, will participate, ready to discuss the evolving market and the technology that is making a difference.

The SBC Summit Barcelona, The Global Betting & iGaming Show, will be held September 21-24 at Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc facility. The four-day event covers sports betting, casino gaming, payments and marketing and media, providing a broad but in-depth perspective on the primary drivers of the global gaming industry. The event will feature 100 innovative and creative suppliers exhibiting the next generation of products, combined with the conference agenda and one of the strongest speaker line-ups of any industry event. 250 expert speakers have already committed to participate, ready to share valuable insights on the issues that face the industry and how they are helping shape the future of gambling.

Sports betting discussions will be part of the summit’s Sports Betting Zone agenda, marking the first time in 18 months that leaders have been able to meet in person to express their takes on the changing market. On Day 2, the How To Choose a Sports Betting Technology Partner seminar will be held, with Duarte and Betcris ready to discuss how operators should prioritize their efforts when looking to adopt. The sports betting supply chain involves a number of different aspects, and operators need to ensure they explore all of the different facets before getting started.

Along with Duarte, BtoBet Chief Operating Officer Dima Reiderman and Trustly VP of Strategic Partnerships Kendall Myles are expected to participate. The event will be moderated by iGaming Performance Director Paul McNea.

While the event is live, it’s understandable that not everyone interested in attending will be able to make the trip. For those who cannot travel to Barcelona, but who want to learn from the in-depth insights of the speakers and see the latest innovations for the industry, a digital version of the Summit will be provided, offering access to the conference discussions, as well as to an interactive expo.
