"CGS2019 will be held on April 25 and 26, 2019, in Cancun"

What stood out in the show?

In this 8th edition of the CGS2018, we had the opportunity to work hand in hand with AIEJA, one of the main gambling associations in Mexico, and thanks to that our proposal reached all corners of the country. We have the support of PRTC (Puerto Rico) representing the Caribbean Regulatory Authorities and the presence of the Games Management of SEGOB (Mexico). Additionally, the 2 most important laboratories in the world had a prominent presence, GLI and BMM. We focused on the topics of the conferences, which had more than 150 people from Mexico, the Caribbean. And in the evenings we gave space to visitors to enjoy a varied and novel exhibition.

What was the feedback received from exhibitors and visitors?

We received very good comments and new ideas for the future. Working hand in hand with the local market and knowing the needs of government and manufacturers, we can once again adapt the needs of all in one product. CGS2019 will be held on April 25 and 26, 2019, in Cancun. The great majority of recommendations was to continue the CGS in the Mexican Caribbean, working with more emphasis on the countries of the region to once again get the presence and support.

Were expectations met?

Absolutely. We met the goals related to visitors and exhibitors, as well as the presence of speakers from around the world supporting our proposal. We are sure that the next edition will have a greater local and regional presence. We will work hand in hand with the Associations and the Directorate of Games, to achieve the expectations of all the important actors of the country, without neglecting the needs of the Caribbean Region.

How many visitors did you receive?

The first day we had more or less 300 visitors. The expected. And the second day did not help the weather because we had an unpredicted Tropical Storm, and that made the presence of local visitors who had already gone through the Salons of the Iberostar a bit harder on the first day. 280 Hosted at the Iberostar and we are evaluating the location options for 2019, considering the needs of relaxation, work areas and conferences and distractions that our group needs. We think that the All Inclusive is a great alternative because in one place we can have everything we need.

Are the plans ready for the next edition?

The dates of the CGS2019 will be on April 25 and 26. Workshops an are reserved for April 27. We will focus the Conferences starting very early on the 25th, and opening the Exhibition Hall at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Always attentive to the model that characterizes us, we will have social networking activities to strengthen the bonds between all the participants. Cancun 2019 will once again have the support of AIEJA and SEGOB and we hope to continue increasing local institutional support, because events like these can only add to strengthen the development of the local industry.
