(Rio de Janeiro, SoloAzar Exclusive) - During the SBC Summit Rio, industry leaders shared their impressions about the companies and their innovative technologies, highlighting the maturity of the Brazilian market. In this context, SoloAzar interviewed Diego Verano, Director of Business Development for LATAM at CT Interactive, to talk about his impressions of the SBC Summit Rio and the firm's positioning in the regional market.
Which companies or technologies were most interesting to you at the event?
The diversity of companies and technologies showcased at the event was truly fascinating. Particularly, I found the presence of several companies specializing in KYC, bonus abuse detection, and CRM solutions to be quite intriguing. It speaks volumes about the maturity of the Brazilian market in terms of regulatory compliance and customer engagement strategies. Additionally, the prominence of local companies developing innovative platforms caught my attention. I was also impressed by the significant role played by affiliates in driving growth and engagement within the market. Their contribution cannot be overstated, and it's clear they are instrumental in shaping the landscape of the gaming industry in Brazil.
What is your opinion about the betting and gaming market in Brazil?
Well, as I just mentioned, it is amazing to see not only how mature the market is but also the number of operators, regionals and federal. The size of the market demands that Brazil be treated as a distinct region in itself, with its own unique opportunities and challenges. While sports betting currently dominates the landscape, there's a palpable sense of anticipation regarding the imminent growth of the casino market. The potential for expansion and diversification within the Brazilian gaming market is immense, and it's an exciting time to be a part of this dynamic industry.
What conferences or presentations did you find most impressive or informative?
In terms of conferences and presentations, I found the discussions surrounding the new federal regulation to be particularly interesting and important. The regulatory landscape plays a pivotal role in shaping the future trajectory of the gaming industry in Brazil, and it's crucial for stakeholders to stay informed and engaged with the latest developments in this area.
How do your firm see the future of the gaming industry in Latin America?
Latin America has transitioned from being an emerging region to a mature and flourishing market. The establishment of regulatory frameworks in countries like Brazil, Peru, and Chile is paving the way for Latin America to become a consolidated jurisdiction.
