(Lisbon, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Martin Ivanov, COO at CT Interactive, reflects on the company's successful showcase at the SBC Summit in Lisbon. In this interview, he discusses the growing demand for streamlined aggregation models, the specific challenges of the European market, and the strategic roadmap for expanding their global footprint.
Martin Ivanov, Chief Operating Officer at CT Interactive, oversees the company’s operational development and international expansion. As CT Interactive continues to expand its aggregation offering with content from additional studios within the Telematic Interactive group, the company is focused on creating a scalable distribution model that responds to the specific requirements of regulated markets.
Following CT Interactive’s participation as an exhibitor at SBC Summit 2026 in Lisbon, Martin spoke to SoloAzar about the company’s objectives at the event, the opportunities created through industry meetings, the evolution of the European market, and CT Interactive’s priorities for the months ahead.
Evaluating SBC Summit Goals and Achievements
Martin Ivanov: “Our main objective was to strengthen CT Interactive’s presence in the international market and present our expanding offering to operators, partners and other industry professionals. SBC Summit was also an important opportunity to communicate our approach to aggregation. We are extending our proprietary portfolio with games from additional studios within the Telematic Interactive group, with the initial plan to distribute titles from at least four additional studios. For us, participation was not only about presenting our products, but also about discussing how we can make access to a wider range of games more efficient for operators in regulated jurisdictions. The meetings and discussions during the event confirmed strong interest in solutions that can simplify content sourcing and distribution. From that perspective, we consider our objectives successfully addressed.”
Streamlining Partnerships and Business Opportunities
Martin Ivanov: “SBC Summit provided a valuable setting for discussions with stakeholders from across the industry. For CT Interactive, many of these conversations were closely connected to our international expansion and aggregation strategy. We discussed opportunities with operators and industry partners interested in accessing a broader selection of games through a more streamlined integration model. Our offering is designed to reduce the need for separate commercial relationships and technical connections with multiple studios. Our focus now is on developing these discussions into long-term business opportunities. The aim is not simply to increase the number of titles available, but to identify partnerships and solutions that can bring value in specific regulated jurisdictions.”
Navigating the Complexities of the European Market
When asked to assess European market evolution compared to other international regions, Ivanov said the following: “Europe remains highly relevant for companies operating in regulated gaming, but it is also characterised by significant differences between individual jurisdictions. Operators cannot necessarily follow the same approach across the region. Certification, compliance, technical standards and availability can vary considerably from one country to another. This is why we believe that successful expansion in Europe requires flexibility and a market-specific approach. Instead of offering the same selection everywhere, we aim to identify games that are already certified, technically prepared and suitable for the conditions of each jurisdiction. Compared with less fragmented international markets, Europe involves greater operational complexity. At the same time, this creates an opportunity to make access to compliant and locally relevant games easier for operators.”
Key Takeaways: The Demand for Simpler Access
WIthin the conversation, SoloAzar asked him about the key insights shared by visitors at the firm's booth, as well as its main takeaways
Martin Ivanov: “One of the clearest takeaways was the continued demand for a wider selection of games combined with simpler access. Operators are looking for greater choice, but they also need to manage integrations, certifications and local requirements efficiently. The discussions at SBC Summit reinforced our view that aggregation can help address these challenges. We also received valuable feedback on the importance of market relevance. A large selection is not necessarily useful if operators still have to assess every title individually for certification, technical readiness and local suitability. For us, this underlines the importance of applying consistent operational standards to everything we onboard, regardless of which studio developed it.”
Future Priorities and Strategic Growth
Following Lisbon, what are your core priorities and strategic markets moving forward?
Martin Ivanov: Our priorities are closely linked to the continued development of our aggregation model and international expansion. We will focus on adding further titles, ensuring they meet the relevant technical and certification standards, and making them available in jurisdictions where they are appropriate and commercially relevant. At the same time, we will continue strengthening our relationships with operators and partners and adapting our offering to their specific needs. Regulated jurisdictions remain a strategic priority for us. Rather than focusing simply on the number of countries, we aim to identify markets where our games are certified, technically ready and capable of delivering value to operators and players. Our broader objective is to build a scalable model through which CT Interactive can distribute both its proprietary games and additional titles from studios within the Telematic Interactive group through a single, efficient point of access.
