Debate on the sports betting and online gaming bill in Peru

(Lima).- According to publications in recent weeks, the Peruvian government through the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) presented months ago the bill to regulate sports betting and online games, said project has been supported by the head of the ministry in recent days before a commission of the congress of the republic stating that the enactment of the rule will allow not only to raise more than 43 million dollars that will benefit, among others, sports, but will also serve to avoid the money laundering among the main benefits.
As recalled, these lines of business in the gaming sector are not formalized in Peru, however, since it is not prohibited, many companies already operate in the Peruvian market without contributing to the central government.
PGS 2022 will be the focus of attention for the national and international audience because in a panel made up of experts and opinion leaders specialized in the matter, they will open the debate to analyze the content of the bill, the benefits and/or defects that it may contain, This and many other aspects will be discussed in this extraordinary presentation.
