Decision makers target iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam
⏱ 2 min read
(Amsterdam).- The seniority of visitors expected at the forthcoming editions of iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam (September 28 – October 1, RAI Amsterdam), has been confirmed by the latest registration data, which show that nearly eight out of ten (78%) of those planning to be part of the first major in-person gaming event to take place since ICE London in February 2020 are decision-makers within their organisation. The proportion, which covers those registrations received up to September 10th will overtake the proportion of senior decision-makers registered at the same stage of the 2019 campaign.
Naomi Barton, Portfolio Director responsible for the Amsterdam-based events, believes the high number of decision makers is a reflection of the status of iGB Live!/ iGB Affiliate Amsterdam, as well as the appetite that exists for the return of in-person events. She said: "To have such a high proportion of key decision makers registering to attend across both events is obviously very positive news. It shows that there is a desire for live events, and that the business-lead generation and networking opportunities alongside the show-floor content we have put together are relevant, topical and meet the needs of our stakeholders. Overall, we have seen a huge jump in registrations with a 30% increase week on week, and we are expecting that spike to increase even further this week and next, ahead of the events."
She continued: "While the most popular areas of focus for those who have registered are casino games, sports betting and affiliate programmes, we are also experiencing an upsurge in the numbers expressing an interest in esports which is tracking nearly 100% above target. Our esports betting and engagement feature, which will be hosted by Ryan Hart, the most successful professional fighting game player of all time, will explore a range of business-centric topics including how to deploy esports influencers as affiliates, data in esports, payments and viewership analytics. The aim is to help visitors to expand their knowledge of esports betting and its role as a major revenue generator. The value of esports annual betting revenues are an estimated $13bn and we want to help visitors to iGB Live!/iGB Affiliate Amsterdam to benefit from this global phenomenon."
