"FADJA has been improving and growing in recent years"
⏱ 3 min read
(London, Exclusive SoloAzar) .- In the framework of the last edition of ICE, SoloAzar interviewed exclusively José Anibal Aguirre, Director of 3A Producciones, FADJA Organizing Company, which this year will be held on April 5 and 6 in Corferias, Bogotá.
What are the expectations for the next edition of FADJA?
Mainly to gather the sellers, buyers, operators and actors of an industry that is growing in Colombia and in Latin America exponentially, due to the new regulations that allow the operation of online bets, of online games, which is revolutionizing the issue of the games due to all these trends that are nowadays more directed to a younger audience and makes this industry start to renew itself and continue with its usual dynamic.
What new developments are we going to have this year at the fair?
We will have a large number of online gambling companies that for the first time land in Latin America and have chosen FADJA as the gateway for their projects, hoping to find in the show not only the Colombian operators but also the different actors of the entire industry. Latin America FADJA in recent years has been improving and growing in that Latin American call and I think that is one of the expectations we have, one of the most important is to continue inviting, calling and achieving the existence of operators throughout the region, I speak from Mexico to Argentina, given that in some countries there are expectations or regulations but in others there definitely are not and all these operators have in FADJA a showcase to find these companies that we see here every year but unfortunately still do not know them.
What were the results of last year's edition and what are the objectives to be overcome in this year?
Last year our main result was the ratification of our brand, our positioning as a fair at national and international level, given that the situation of the change of venue caused in some way an uncertainty about the attendance of visitors, and the exhibitors were totally surprised, satisfied, and we, as a company and as an organization, well pleased to see that the brand attracts the operators. Logically the brand is made up of all our staff of exhibitors but that was like the added value of this fair, the power to ratify that the call of our brand is very strong.
How do you see the gaming industry globally and particularly in the region where the show is organized?
The global industry is so dynamic and so fast, that no matter how much you want to be aware and are at the forefront and pending developments, you can not be in all the details. There is always something new. I like to see that this is true but sometimes it scares me a bit to be outdated. I would say that the most important thing that the industry has at the international level are developments, novelties, giant investments.
And how do you see the Colombian market?
What I perceive is that this online game culture will take. The Latin American player has moved into an unregulated market within the online game and does not have the knowledge or skill that the European or Asian player has, and concern about numbers, about statistics and results, about how to place a bet. The truth is that making a sports bet is not something simple. It is a complex issue that I think is what is going to cost the platforms that see an opportunity and a market but do not imagine that there is not an online game culture. And that is something that will take. Those who work in companies, I think that, in parallel to the presentation of their products, they will need to incorporate themes of game culture into their development and marketing plans.
Two important issues that come: responsible game and game culture.
