FEJAR positions Madrid as the Ibero-American epicenter of Responsible Gambling with its first International Conference

The Spanish Federation of Rehabilitated Gamblers (FEJAR) takes a strategic step with its first International Responsible Gambling Conference, scheduled for February 17, 2026, at the Ilunión Suites Madrid Hotel. This event moves beyond a purely national scope to become the leading forum in Ibero-America on responsible gambling policies and practices.

The conference is institutionally supported by the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ) and technically organized by JAK Comunicación, ensuring a high-quality meeting in terms of management and content. The decision to expand the scope to Ibero-America reflects the opportunity to exchange regulatory and healthcare experiences within a shared cultural and linguistic context.

"Collaboration between Spain and Ibero-America in Responsible Gambling is a strategic opportunity to improve public policies, anticipate emerging risks, and strengthen corporate social responsibility from a culturally coherent perspective," FEJAR emphasizes.

A space for multi-sector dialogue
The conference is characterized by its transversal and collaborative approach, bringing together:

Public administrations and regulators, to compare legislative frameworks and protection solutions.

Gambling operators, to integrate prevention strategies and understand the player’s reality from a human perspective.

Health professionals and researchers, to provide clinical evidence on addictive disorders and their treatment.

Clinical experience in 21 countries
With over 30 years of experience, FEJAR offers a global and practical vision of responsible gambling, managing free support lines in Spain and providing online therapy to users in 21 countries. This experience allows FEJAR to offer prevention and protection policies based on real evidence, beyond theoretical models.

With this conference, Madrid positions itself as the Ibero-American epicenter of Responsible Gambling, consolidating FEJAR as a leader in developing effective prevention and treatment strategies for gambling disorder.
