First PGS 2023 Forum advances at an excellent pace a few days before its inauguration
⏱ 1 min read
(Lima).- The presence of experts with a long history in the industry and successful professionals will be responsible for the debate on a crucial issue on remote gaming, sports betting and online gaming, at the event that will take place held on March 8 and 9.
In recent years, Latin America has become a potential market to which software developers, gaming platforms, payment methods, and service providers look with great optimism due to the expansion of businesses related to remote gaming.
In this context, since August 2022 Peru has Law No. 31557 for remote gaming and remote sports betting whose regulations are under review by government agencies, so the debate called PGS becomes a great opportunity to know the details of the law and facilitate the landing of the most important brands and companies in the world. Large and important remote gaming companies are looking for fully regulated jurisdictions to land with the assurance that they will have security, clarity and stability as a business in the long term.
The Forum on March 8 and 9 will not only be a debate, it will also be an opportunity to learn and professionalize the sector, so that, once the business is established in the Peruvian market, errors in its implementation will be avoided. The event is aimed exclusively at executives who make decisions in an organization, managers, general managers and directors.
After Peru approved the land-base law years ago, the law and regulations for remote gaming and sports betting remained for years alone, generating millions of losses for the state. After Law No. 31557 and the regulation to be published, the Peruvian state will benefit from the collection for payment of benefits from the public treasury, sports, ministry of health and tourism.
