(Punta Cana).- 3A Producciones and The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club are getting ready to welcome three gaming sectors in the Dominican Republic: land-based casinos, sports betting and lotteries. Next November 25 and 26, the production team and commercial allies will stage an academic, commercial and networking space ideal for the gaming industry of the Caribbean country to meet to share experiences and interact with other business operators, association leaders and regulators of Latin America.
José Aníbal Aguirre, explains the process to make GAT Caribe a reality: "We have always been attentive to the development of tourist and entertainment centers in the region, due to the fact that they are accompanied by the growth of traditional gambling and of new segments of gamblers. During six months we socialized the vision of an annual event for the Caribbean Region with the local regulator, the associations of casinos, sports banks and lottery consortiums. In addition to the locals, operators from neighboring countries such as Jamaica, Aruba and Costa Rica will attend. We are very committed to this project, which is being launched for the first time on Thanksgiving Day. We followed the recommendation of the Dominican associations to move our definitive date on the international calendar to June 2 and 3, 2022. I also want to mention that we found great interest in the Dominican Republic on the subject of regulation of betting on eSports and video games, a topic that we will touch on the academic agenda of the second day".
GAT Caribe has the following sponsors and exhibitors: Juancito Sport, relevant online betting and sports banking operator, Loteka, recognized lottery concessionaire, IGC, important manufacturer of roulettes and slots, and Zataca, prestigious telecommunications network. In the land-based and online exhibition will participate: DAPS Solutions arrives from Costa Rica with solutions for sports platforms; Evenbet Gaming, shares the best online poker options; Mobadoo will exhibit its eSports betting portfolio. Delegates from Sportradar and EGT in the Caribbean have also confirmed their presence, as well as BMM TestLabs. The organizers inform that there are still 49 seats available to attend the conferences and panels, out of the 100 that have been authorized by the Ministry of Health of the Dominican Republic.
Regulators and associations from Latin America have been invited to the event to share their pandemic and post-pandemic experiences in preparing the industry for the new normal.
The academic agenda is composed of the following conceptual topics: casinos, sports banking, lotteries, online platforms and eSports betting. The actors of the gaming industry in the Dominican Republic expect to share experiences and knowledge with leaders of the industry in Colombia and other countries, represented by the presidents of the land-based gaming associations of the land based and sports betting associations.
These are some of the speakers that integrate the academic line-up of GAT Caribe:
