“GAT Cartagena was the perfect stage to generate contacts and explore iGaming projects”: Diego Verano (EEZE)
⏱ 2 min read
(Cartagena, SoloAzar Exclusive).- After his participation in GAT Cartagena 2026, Diego Verano, Director of Business Development LATAM, EEZE, shared with SoloAzar his impressions of the trade show, the conferences, and the business opportunities opening up in the region. In this interview, Ramos highlights the relevance of networking, the value of regulatory content, and the potential of his company’s technological solutions for Latin American operators.
Dialogue with local operators at GAT
“We are very satisfied; the experience was very positive thanks to the commercial contacts generated during the event and the opportunity to engage in dialogue with the main local operators. The event stands out on the calendar because of how it is organized, its venue, and its overall activities, as it allows for a completely different connection with the entire gaming industry ecosystem,” said Verano.
Relevant content in the conferences
“In the conference cycle, the main challenges of the gaming ecosystem were addressed, along with the political and administrative circumstances of the country and the region. Among so much content, I highlight the intervention of Brian Krolicki, Vice Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission, who shared information about Nevada’s regulatory model and how it could be applicable to the Latin American context.”
EEZE: Networking and business agreements
Regarding the exchanges on the exhibition floor, Verano commented: “Honestly, we tried to make the most of our stay in Cartagena in terms of networking, continuing conversations that have the potential to turn into business agreements. We also know there were exhibitors of great quality in what they presented in Colombia, but at EEZE, rather than seeking innovation or focusing on trends, we concentrated our efforts on properly working the largest possible number of contacts that emerged at this edition of GAT.”
Contacts and business opportunities
“We are very excited about the contacts generated. In a region experiencing a unique moment, our presence in Colombia was the perfect stage to explore how our technological solutions in Live Casino, Chroma Key, Gamification, Slots, and Game Shows can help operators launch iGaming projects,” concluded Verano.
