(Bogota).— International operators, prominent suppliers, and the regulatory body Coljuegos meet today at GAT Expo Bogota. The event combines a powerful technological exhibition—with a special emphasis on the land-based segment—and the GAT Talks conference cycle, designed to debate the future of responsible gaming, physical casinos, and gamification in Latin America.

GAT Expo Bogota 2026: Exploring Innovations in the Gaming Sector

Gaming Industry and Technology Unite at GAT Expo Bogota

The Sheraton Salitre Hotel in the capital of Colombia opens its doors today to visitors from Brazil, Peru, Slovenia, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, the United States, Georgia, Mexico, Venezuela, Slovakia, Costa Rica, China, and the Dominican Republic, among other countries. Together with executive operators from all regions of the host country, they meet in a single-day event to share the latest news of this important economic sector, the latest technological developments and innovations, find commercial opportunities, and close business deals and strategic alliances.

With a special emphasis on the land-based segment, the stand exhibition brings together renowned national and international manufacturers and suppliers presenting innovations in slot machines, cabinets, electronic roulettes, management systems, digital platforms, and omnichannel solutions for casinos and online betting.

The 2026 edition is supported by Pragmatic Play, BetPlay, BetConstruct, YaJuego, and Gamanza as sponsors, brands that contribute to the development of this space for business networking and industry updates.

Exhibiting companies include Novomatic, Win Systems/Gold Club, Interblock, RPCOL, Gem Solutions, Global Technology Services, Oklahoma, Play Group, Royal Gaming, BetConstruct, Chensehengtong Technology, and UP Gaming, which showcase products and services of the highest quality for the different physical and online casino verticals.

The national regulatory body, Coljuegos, participates with an institutional stand, from which officials from its departments will attend to the visiting public, joining this exclusive gathering of the gaming ecosystem in Colombia.

GAT Talks: Three Strategic Conversations

Between 2:20 and 4:20 p.m., GAT Talks will bring together prominent industry representatives to address three issues of special relevance for the Colombian and Latin American market: responsible gaming, the current state of land-based casinos, and the evolution of gamification.

The first panel, "Responsible Gaming in Colombia," will feature the participation of the presidents of four major Colombian associations: Evert Montero Cárdenas from Fecoljuegos; Juan Carlos Restrepo from Asojuegos; Elizabeth Maya Cano from Cornazar; and Willington Ortiz from Fedelco. The meeting will allow contrasting experiences and association perspectives on one of the industry's major commitments.

Next, the discussion "Current State of Land-Based Casinos in Colombia and Latin America" will focus on the evolution and challenges of this segment, in a conversation moderated by Georges Didier, Regional Director for Latin America at Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), with the participation of Laura Marcela Arévalo, Legal Advisor at Cornazar, and José Luis Osorio, CEO of Retailsoft.

The academic session will close with "Gamification is not a bonus engine: why the industry confused the mechanism with the experience," a space led by Andrés Blanco, General Manager and Product Director at Gamanza Engage, alongside Lina Gallego, Country Manager of Luckia Colombia; Paola Gayón, Marketing Manager of BetPlay; Diego Fernando Arévalo of Ya Juego; and Favián Granados, CRM of Xpanzia. The conversation will explore the role of gamification in user experience and new strategies for interaction and loyalty.

Statements From CEO of GAT Events

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, comments: "Beyond the technological exhibition and networking, GAT Expo Bogota is a high-level business scenario where national and international manufacturers and suppliers meet face-to-face with operators and entrepreneurs with decision-making and investment capacity. The fair promotes the renewal of equipment and the updating of gaming portfolios closing out 2026, boosting the Colombian market in favor of legal gaming and sustainable development."
