(San Juan).- The second edition of GAT in Puerto Rico will be held this coming September 9 at The Condado Plaza Hotel, in a single day featuring a commercial exhibition, conferences, and networking.

The Caribbean island will once again be a meeting point for the gaming and betting industry at GAT Expo Puerto Rico 2026, which will celebrate its second edition on September 9 at The Condado Plaza Hotel in San Juan.
Following a successful arrival in 2025, GAT Events reaffirms its commitment to the Puerto Rican market, offering a commercial showcase that will bring together national and international authorities, operators, manufacturers, suppliers, and executives, combining regulatory updates, exhibition of products and solutions, lead generation, and networking spaces.
The prominence and support of the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission is a relevant factor in an event that promotes dialogue between regulators of the bureaus currently operating in this US island territory and suppliers and operators interested in investing or strengthening their presence in an expanding market.

A comprehensive day: academy, exhibition, and networking
From 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the commercial stand exhibition will be open, where operators and professional visitors will be able to discover technologies, products, services, and solutions for the different segments.
At 11:00 a.m., specialized conferences and panel discussions will begin, with the participation of the Puerto Rican regulator and its management staff, sector representatives, and experts who will address current issues for the Puerto Rican and regional market. At 7:00 p.m., the event will conclude with the closing cocktail and networking on the premises of the host hotel.
José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, stated: “We are back in San Juan for our second edition because we believe in the regulator's management and the positive impact it has been generating across all industry bureaus in Puerto Rico. This year we have decided to concentrate the activities into a single day to offer a highly cohesive and productive experience, in which conferences, the exhibition, and networking complement each other and allow our participants to make the most of every space and moment. We are very grateful to the companies, authorities, and gaming leaders who have once again placed their trust in GAT and will join us on September 9.”

A growing and transforming market
According to information disclosed last July by the regulatory body, 21 authorized casinos currently operate on the island, and the opening of three new venues in Ponce, Mayagüez, and Carolina is projected between 2028 and 2029, which would bring the market to 24 casinos. The growth is also reflected in new investments; in 2026, the Gran Casino Viejo San Juan opened its doors, becoming the 21st authorized casino in Puerto Rico, following an investment of approximately USD 11 million. According to the authority, the industry continues to contribute close to USD 200 million to the Puerto Rican economy.
Added to this panorama is the evolution of sports betting, which currently totals 9 authorized operators, 4 of which are also casino operators. The last consolidated fiscal year, 2024-2025, reported USD 313.16 million in gaming volume, practically double the previous period, while the regulation of route gaming machines has generated collections close to USD 30 million, earmarked for the General Fund, municipalities, and the Police Retirement Trust, among others.

Leading brands back GAT Expo Puerto Rico
The second edition of GAT Expo in San Juan has the support of major companies from the international industry.
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) and Gamanza will participate as conference sponsors, backing the academic component and the exchange of specialized knowledge during the day.
The Puerto Rico Gaming Commission and Hipódromo Camarero, a benchmark for equestrian activity and entertainment in Puerto Rico, are Gold Sponsors of GAT Expo Puerto Rico 2026.
Meanwhile, Aristocrat joins as a Bronze Sponsor, strengthening the presence of top-tier international companies in this second edition. Mobadoo and Royal Gaming Logistics are also part of the sponsor lineup.
The commercial showcase will gather companies linked to different industry verticals and solutions. Confirmed companies and organizations include Novomatic, the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission, Royal Gaming Logistics, Fortune Group Games, Caribbean Gaming, EAS Systems, EEZE, Bloomcrest, TVC Gaming, Amusnet, Hipódromo Camarero, Prometeo, Oklahoma, and Gem Solutions.
This scenario of expansion, regulation, and market diversification reinforces the importance of bringing together authorities, operators, manufacturers, suppliers, and experts in San Juan once again to analyze the challenges and opportunities that accompany the industry's evolution.
Consequently, GAT Expo Puerto Rico seeks to connect the local market with leaders from Latin America, the Caribbean, North America, and Europe, facilitating commercial exchange, the generation of new and productive contacts, and the development of major opportunities.
