GAT Expo Santo Domingo: a key meeting of the gaming industry

Santo Domingo prepares for a new stage

The recent approval of Law 86-26 on Gambling opens a new stage for the Dominican market and generates expectations among the different segments of the industry. In this context, GAT Expo Santo Domingo 2026 will bring together the main national and international associations, operators, manufacturers and technology suppliers.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 18 at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino, where an eight-hour day of commercial exhibition and activities dedicated to analysis and business exchange will take place.

Among the participating organizations will be the National Federation of Lottery Banks (FENABANCA), chaired by Juan Antonio Del Jesús; the Dominican Association of Sports Banks (ADOBAD), represented by Leonardo Lantigua and Ariel Espinal; the Dominican Association of Gaming Casinos (ADCJ), led by David Moniz; and the National Association of Sports Banks (ANBD), led by Ricardo Nadal.

The presence of these entities will seek to strengthen the links between associations, operators and supplier companies at a time of transformation for the sector.

National and international sponsors

The fair will be supported by local and international companies. RAZA.do, the sportsbook operator, will be the Diamond Sponsor and will host the welcome cocktail on Tuesday, November 17, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., at the Renaissance Hotel.

For its part, Juancito Sport will participate as a Platinum Sponsor, reinforcing the presence of Dominican companies at the meeting.

Also accompanying the initiative will be BetConstruct, a provider of technological platforms for sports betting, casinos and iGaming solutions; Gamanza, specialized in platforms for regulated markets, gamification and loyalty; and Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), an international benchmark in certification and compliance with technical standards.

GAT Talks: The Impact of New Legislation

One of the central axes of the day will be the agenda of GAT Talks, scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The program will include a panel with representatives of the four Dominican associations, moderated by Lcda. Yamile Gutierrez, founder and director of G&G Studio Legal. The debate will address the perspectives of the different segments in the face of the new legislation, the challenges of its implementation and the opportunities to promote the formalization and sustainable development of the activity.

The program will also feature the participation of Andrés Blanco, CEO of Gamanza Engage, who will present the company's marketing and loyalty strategy. His presentation will focus on the use of technology and behavioral psychology principles to improve the user experience and strengthen the relationship with brands, under ethical and responsible gaming criteria.

Likewise, José Carlos Figueroa, GLI's regional manager for the Caribbean, will share his experience in technical standards, certification and regulatory compliance, especially relevant issues in the face of the regulatory changes that the Dominican market is going through.

New companies join the trade show

The commercial exhibition will take place in the Anacaona Room, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and continues to expand its offer with the incorporation of Lotobet, Loto Real, Sport Integrity Team (SIT), IGC and Mobbili.

These companies will join Demp Innovations, Prometeo, Cecomsa, Virtual Generation Caribe, Átomo Gaming, Bingo Maya, G&G Studio Legal, MIVISA, BYADS, Star Sport and Grupo Germán.

The showroom will offer solutions for land-based casinos, lottery banks, sports betting, virtual gaming, digital platforms and specialized services. The aim will be to facilitate direct contact between suppliers, operators and investors from different markets.

Santo Domingo closes the GAT Events 2026 Circuit

GAT Expo Dominican Republic will be the last meeting of the GAT Events 2026 Circuit, which during the year developed activities in Cartagena de Indias, Mexico City, São Paulo, San Juan and Bogotá. This sixth edition in Santo Domingo will mark the closing of the annual calendar.

When evaluating the results of the circuit, José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, expressed his satisfaction with the evolution of the format in the different jurisdictions and highlighted the opportunities generated by changes in the regional industry.

The executive also highlighted the good reception of the GAT Talks and the organization's commitment to the training of operators, especially in responsible gaming as a pillar for business sustainability.

In addition, he advanced the next appointment of the organization in Cartagena, scheduled for March 30 and 31 and April 1, 2027.

The Santo Domingo day will offer eight hours of commercial activity to learn about new gaming portfolios, exchange perspectives on the new Dominican legislation, establish contacts with international suppliers and generate business opportunities in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean.
