Goody Group presented its portfolio of products in SAGSE 2019

(Buenos Aires, Exclusive SoloAzar).- Richard Saavedra, Goody Group CEO, granted an interview to SoloAzar within SAGSE 2019. He talked about the participation of the company at the show, he made an evaluation of the year and anticipated plans for 2020, among other issues.
"We make uniforms, table linen, curtains, we also have the bazaar division, which is very important, and we have grown a lot. We make the equipment of hotels, casinos and restaurants. Our clients who have known us for 33 years have given us the possibility to enter with other products, since they know our quality, service and trust ," Saavedra commented.
"What we try to do is a fun collection to motivate a little, and the little that has moved in design, due to economic issue we are going through, especially this last year, well, that 2020 is a takeoff. We are noticing in Argentina a hope, a positivism, a desire to do things. We still do not know what the future holds but we are all pointing to what will be better. Well, and the collection is about that, much joy, many colors , a lot of innovation, and throwing ideas so that everyone is encouraged and tries to be better than the competition ", he added.
When consulted about his opinion on SAGSE, he said the following: "Considering the economic situation of the country, although the event is small, it is compact and well presented. The owner of the trade show, Giorgio Gennari Litta, has helped us a lot and we all made an effort to be here. It was a great effort, however, I noted that a lot of people came here. A lot of decision makers came, such as owners, directors, presidents of companies, managers. We had time to talk to them. There is a positive feeling on them, and that is good because it will generate plans for 2020. I believe it is good that the exhibition has been held, because there is a future, and I think we have to make an effort and innovate, offer more services, and the operator has to give the best to its customers."
"We closed the year with SAGSE. It was a strong year where we worked a lot and opened our venue in Uruguay. We have had presence in nine countries, but, with a non competitive dollar, we had to close all of them: the US venue, the venue in Spain, etc, but we arrived in Uruguay a year ago.
"Uruguay is a market that is a bit retracted because it depends a lot on the Argentine move, but we are still selling. And sporadically we are exporting: to Miami, to Portugal, to Spain, Costa Rica, Panama. We're waiting. What we need is stability; we need a stable dollar to be able to plan. It has been a year of many trips and we are waiting to see what happens from March," he concluded.
