On 10 June 2026, policymakers, sports data specialists, and betting industry experts will meet at the European Parliament in Brussels for a special event dedicated to the upcoming FIFA World Cup. Hosted by Member of the European Parliament David Casa, the session will offer an in-depth analysis of the tournament just days before kick-off.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup marks a milestone for international football. For the first time, the competition will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, while the tournament expands to 48 participating nations, making it the largest edition in FIFA World Cup history.
