iGB L!VE builds on global credentials with launch of new visa assistance initiative

While the overwhelming majority of visitors are able to complete their travel requirements by following the straightforward guidance provided on the iGB L!VE website, the new service which is being provided in conjunction with law firm Branch Austin McCormick, offers targeted support for those who may have more complex circumstances.

World Gaming Managing Director Stuart Hunter said the new Visa Support service reflects the growing global credentials of iGB L!VE and the steadfast commitment on behalf of World Gaming to help exhibitors and attendees meet their business objectives . He stated: "The 2025 edition of iGB L!VE, which was the first to be held in London, attracted attendees from a total of 149 nations a figure only surpassed by ICE Barcelona (162). iGB L!VE is the industry's premier mid-year business event where many of the programmes and projects hatched at ICE and iGB Affiliate Barcelona are developed further. "Feedback from our customers highlighted the importance of making it as easy as possible for international attendees to travel and do business in London. This initiative is a practical enhancement, providing reassurance and expert support for those who need it, while keeping the overall process simple and accessible for the vast majority of our global visitors."

Outlining the scope of the services provided, Efrat Shemesh, Partner and Head of Immigration at Branch Austin McCormick explained: "We advise on the most appropriate route and guide applicants through the process ensuring compliance with UK immigration rules." "For those who encounter refusals, we can provide further support, including drafting Pre-Action Protocol letters where appropriate. Early preparation allows time to address any issues, gather the correct evidence, and avoid unnecessary delays."
