(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Leonardo Sosa, Konami Gaming’s Regional Director of Gaming Operations, reflects on the company’s successful showcase at G2E 2026. Highlighting the rollout of the new Solstice hardware in Latam, high-demand titles like Money in the Bank, and the rapid expansion of Konami Online Interactive, Sosa outlines the strategic priorities shaping the supplier's roadmap for the remainder of the year and into 2027.

Konami Drives Growth with Solstice and iGaming Innovations Post-G2E 2026

Konami Gaming Experience at G2E 2026

Leonardo Sosa, Konami Gaming Regional Director of Gaming Operations, considers that G2E was a very strong show for Konami Gaming and its global customers.

“Last year we saw huge excitement around the new Solstice machine and BOMBERMAN slots. Since then, we successfully delivered these releases to market, and international customers walked away from this year’s event with a positive outlook for Konami’s continued performance. Money in the Bank, Dragon Firecracker, and Red Fortune Rail are some of the top anticipated games for international casinos right now.”

Standout Solutions: Money in the Bank and SYNKROS

Sosa then commented about the feedback receibed by visitors to Konami booth.

"Money in the Bank is a standout product for our international customers. It has proven success across geographic markets, and it is also available for iGaming operators through Konami Online Interactive. Money in the Bank features unique “shake the bank” and “break the bank” mechanics inside the hold & spin feature. These new mechanics give players the chance to win extra prizes from a bonus bank of funds, again and again.

Many also walked into our booth to connect with representatives for Konami’s award-winning SYNKROS casino management system, which is constantly evolving to bring new technology and exciting improvements to the gaming floor. Konami’s casino management system now serves more than 150,000 machines worldwide."

Key Industry Trends, iGaming Growth, and Strategic Priorities

When asked about technology, player experience and digital transformation, Sosa pointed the following:

"Nested bonuses are proving very popular with the latest game releases. Red Fortune Rail has done very well with its nested bonus mechanic during the hold & spin. Players just need to collect 1 bell with the hold & spin bonus, and that guarantees entry to the nested bonus on special prize reels. And the more bells collected, the higher the prize multipliers. Red Fortune Rail is a debut series on Konami’s newest Solstice hardware, and it is also arriving for availability online through the Konami Online Interactive remote gaming server (RGS).

The presence of iGaming continues to grow at G2E. Globally, online gaming is a very competitive space, and we know that iGaming sites have many options to get content. But only Konami can offer a full-scale library of Konami games, and it’s always expanding. Our iGaming customers are eager to enjoy the latest new games, and they like the trusted brand recognition that Konami provides."

With regard to G2E 2026, he said that: “For land-based in particular, G2E is the industry event with the highest volume of the very newest games. It is a decades-long tradition for land-based creators to bring a flood of new entertainment to this event, and Konami is part of this tradition.”

Konami main priorities for the near future

"A big milestone for 2026 has been the arrival of Konami’s latest Solstice game hardware in Latin America, with top series like Money in the Bank, Red Fortune Rail, and Dragon Firecracker. One of our main priorities is supporting more casinos with these new popular games.

And with the launch of Konami Online Interactive just 12 months ago, Konami has shown a big push for iGaming this year. We want to continue supporting online operators and further grow that momentum," he concluded.
