´Our goal at E.V.G. is to increase online gaming,´ Gabi Dumistrascu, Elettronica Video Games

"The company has been in the market for more than 40 years and I have been working in the company for about 25 years", she said. "We used to be distributors in Italy for Konami and other companies for many years, but then the legislation changed, and when the legislation for coin machines was released, we had to start and operate coin machines without partners from Taiwan. So actually we buy our hardware from other countries and we produce all the software by ourselves".

"In Enada we have presented some news, regarding coin up, AWP machines basically, but we are also presenting online machines, because now we are also starting to do multichannel games. We have a very big trend in Italy. Most part of the company bring the games for landbased and they convert for online or for mobile phone or for VLT machines," Dumitrascu added.

When asked about the current situation of the gaming sector in Italy, she affirmed: "It is uncertain, because legislation is not very clear and the licenses of concessionaries is ending at the end of June, so nobody knows what is going to happen after June. Everybody is waiting for this licenses to be renewed, but right now, there is always changing something. It's not easy."

Finally, she anticipated the future goals for E.V.G: "As a company, our goal is to increase online gaming , so our project is to certify our system and enter in the online side with more games, basically probably in cooperation with Sun International from Taiwan."
