(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Joe López is CEO of AMG, the company organizing the Perú Gaming Show, which will take place on June 18 and 19 at the Jockey Exhibition Center in Lima. As the countdown to the start of PGS 2025 begins, López explains why it's a must-attend event for all players in the gaming market.
Which are the latest news just days before the start of the Peru Gaming Show?
Many things have changed in the gaming industry in recent years. Technology and how to use it to improve business and customer service. The market in general has also changed, as Peru is now a fully authorized and formal market, including remote online gaming and sports betting. All of this will be topics of our conferences and exhibitions. Topics such as artificial intelligence, payment methods, omnichannel marketing, and many online gaming and sports betting companies that recognize the importance of our market will be exhibiting their services and products.
What can you tell us about the wide range of conferences that will be held at the event?
As has always been our custom, we try to present the most important industry topics of the day and keep operators informed so they can provide professional and excellent service to their clients. Today's most important topics include the topics mentioned above and the impact of new or proposed laws. We also like other markets that already have experience operating with these new trends.
In a recent interview, you told us you were hoping to break all attendance records. What's your latest update on attendance numbers?
We have more than 90 exhibitors confirmed for the fair, and online bookings on our website are increasing daily. We're very pleased with the preliminary results we have just two weeks before the fair.
What can you tell us about the Jockey Exhibition Center facilities where the event will be held?
The Exhibition Center is always improving its facilities. There is now a more convenient entrance to the center from the main highway, La Panamericana. PGS has also provided more parking for visitors, and we always strive to improve upon the previous year by responding to our customers' suggestions.
Finally, would you like to add anything about Peru?
Beyond being a very interesting gaming market with many opportunities for companies and operators, Peru offers a lot for visitors. We have a new, large, and modern airport, opened a week ago, with direct flights from countries around the world. Peruvian cuisine is known worldwide as one of the best, if not the best. We have many top-notch tourist attractions and all the necessary services for visitors to enjoy their visit to Peru. We hope to see you in Lima on June 18 and 19.
