(Lima).- Following a successful 23rd edition that gathered over 6,000 visitors, Affiliated Marketing Group announced that Peru Gaming Show (PGS) 2027 will be held on June 16 and 17. The organization is focused on bringing together the land-based and online sectors under one roof once again at the region's most important event.
Having concluded the 23rd edition of PGS in June 2026, consolidating its position as the most attended trade show in Latin America, the organization is already working on laying the foundations for next year. Affiliated Marketing Group (AMG), the organizer of the Peru Gaming Show, officially confirmed that the 24th edition will take place on June 16 and 17, 2027.
PGS has become a must-attend destination for industry leaders and professionals seeking cutting-edge technology, investment opportunities, and a global corporate networking space, having hosted representatives from 46 countries this year.
The Boom of Online Gaming and the Goal of Unifying the Industry
The recent edition marked a notable difference compared to past presentations: 70% of the exhibiting brands corresponded to the online gaming and sports betting segments, reflecting the exponential growth of this sector worldwide. In contrast, there was a withdrawal of physical machine manufacturers (land-based), who opted to organize private events around the PGS dates to take advantage of the large turnout.
This proliferation of parallel events has caused confusion and stress among operators due to the large number of invitations in a very short period. Given that Peru has a traditionally strong market in the land-based segment—being the first country in the region to enact a law for this sector—the PGS organization reaffirmed its commitment for next year: it will take all necessary steps to reconvene both land-based and online actors, integrating the entire industry under one roof.
A Strategic Hub and a First-Class Tourist Destination
The results of PGS 2026 exceeded all expectations, highlighting the presence of the main brands in the market and an attendance that surpassed 6,000 visitors during the two days of the fair, consecrating it once again as the icon of the gaming industry in the region. Its strategic location in Lima makes it a true hub for all of Latin America.
In addition to business, attending PGS represents an unbeatable opportunity for tourism. Peru is an ancient country that is home to historical jewels such as Caral (5,000 years old) and the archaeological center of Machu Picchu (considered the eighth wonder of the world). Added to this is its geographical diversity of coast, mountains, and jungle, and a gastronomic offering that leads global rankings.
