(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Juan Carlos Loza, Head of Sales Latam at ProntoPaga, spoke exclusively after the company's participation in Peru Gaming Show 2026, highlighting the agreements reached, the interest in their payment solutions, and the expansion plans that will drive their growth across Latin America.
ProntoPaga strengthens its positioning at Peru Gaming Show 2026
ProntoPaga's participation at Peru Gaming Show 2026 (PGS 2026) left a highly favorable balance for the company. This was stated by Juan Carlos Loza, Head of Sales Latam for the firm, who highlighted that the event allowed them to consolidate ties with clients, advance strategic negotiations, and consolidate the brand's presence in one of the region's most relevant markets.
According to the executive, the trade show was a key space for closing new agreements, accelerating integration processes with operators, and expanding ProntoPaga's footprint in both iGaming and other industries that require high-performance payment infrastructure.
"Beyond the volume of contacts, the most important takeaway was moving forward with strategic operators, speeding up integration processes, and continuing to build a solid foundation for the coming months," Loza noted.
From a commercial and marketing perspective, the executive pointed out that the company managed to reinforce its positioning as one of the leading providers of payment solutions for the industry—recognition that, he affirmed, also comes from tech partners and ecosystem suppliers.
Payment solutions that captured the market's attention
Yape On File and instant payouts took center stage
When asked which solutions sparked the most interest during the event, Loza explained that Yape On File and instant payouts drew the bulk of inquiries from operators and suppliers.
The executive recalled that Yape On File allows users to register their account just once to streamline future deposits, reducing friction during the process and improving conversion rates.
In parallel, he highlighted the performance of instant payouts to bank accounts and digital wallets.
"We offer 24/7 transfers to banks, Yape, Plin, and other digital wallets that can be completed in under three seconds, contributing to a better user experience and retention," he explained.
Loza added that ProntoPaga's main alternative payment solutions in Peru currently exceed a 95% approval rate, while nine out of ten operators using digital wallet payouts in that market choose the company's platform.
Furthermore, he highlighted fraud prevention features, such as account ownership validation, and the ability to access a wide portfolio of payment methods through a single integration, including cards, interoperable QR codes, Yape, cash networks, and instant payouts.
New business opportunities drive regional expansion
During the interview, Loza explained that the opportunities that arose at Peru Gaming Show centered around three main pillars.
On the one hand, new iGaming operators expressed interest in incorporating ProntoPaga's payment infrastructure to boost their approval rates and streamline withdrawals in Peru.
At the same time, existing clients evaluated expanding their use of solutions like Yape One Shot and Utility Payments (Pago de Servicios), while conversations also progressed with platforms, tech providers, and PAM systems interested in integrating a regional payment infrastructure.
The executive emphasized that these initiatives strengthen the company's expansion strategy, as a single integration allows operators to access various payment methods and operate in markets such as Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina.
Peru solidifies as a strategic market for ProntoPaga
The Andean region fuels the company's growth
Analyzing the company's current landscape, Loza stated that ProntoPaga is going through a consolidation phase as a Latin American platform specialized in payments for digital industries, with a strong presence in the iGaming segment.
In this context, he highlighted that Peru currently represents one of the most important markets for the company, thanks to a comprehensive offering of payin and payout solutions that includes tools like Yape On File and instant withdrawals to banks and digital wallets.
The executive stressed that the company's goal goes beyond simply offering payment methods; it aims to improve critical metrics for operators, such as conversion, withdrawal speed, fraud prevention, and user retention.
He also reviewed ProntoPaga's regional footprint, featuring a consolidated operation in Chile, sustained growth in Ecuador, and ongoing expansion across Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and other Latin American markets.
"We continue to move forward with a clear objective: to consolidate ourselves as a strategic payment partner for the industry in every market where we operate," he affirmed.
Mexico and new solutions to mark the close of 2026
Looking ahead to the coming months, Loza pointed out that one of the main priorities will be strengthening ProntoPaga's presence in Mexico, a market where the company is already seeing a strong reception among local and regional operators currently undergoing onboarding processes.
Simultaneously, the company will continue investing in the development of its technological infrastructure, bolstering its fraud prevention mechanisms, and expanding its capabilities to offer regional settlements in local currencies, international transfers, and digital assets, all while remaining fully adapted to each jurisdiction's regulations.
Moreover, he anticipated that ProntoPaga is working on new solutions slated for launch in late 2026 and early 2027.
"Our goal for the end of 2026 is to be integrated with the leading operators in each market and to continue positioning ProntoPaga as one of the iGaming-specialized payment platforms with the widest coverage and highest growth in Latin America," Loza concluded.
