(Lima).- The Ibero-American Gaming Summit brought together government authorities and leading companies in markets where GAT Events promotes the development of legal gaming.

With the GAT Expo team's attendance at the 9th Ibero-American Gaming Summit, held in Lima on May 27 and 28, the organization's role as a promoter and integrator of the entertainment industry in Latin America was reaffirmed. The event brought together executives from regulatory entities and associations from Peru, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, countries where GAT holds its main commercial and academic showcases. Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, and Argentina also had delegates at the conferences and roundtables organized by José Ángel Fernández Siruela, CEO of JAK Comunicación.

This high-level event is designed to strengthen inter-institutional relations, foster strategic alliances, and project new opportunities for collaboration.

A dialogue that strengthens the region:
✔️ The host country, Peru, is making progress in regulating online gaming and introducing innovative controls on informal betting.
✔️ Colombia reaffirms its leadership as a pioneer and linchpin of the iGaming regulatory model with record-high revenue.
✔️ The Dominican Republic is consolidating its online regulatory framework, its commitment to responsible gaming, and the dynamics of the sector.
✔️ Puerto Rico presents growing opportunities in sports betting, on-the-go slot machines, and improvements in responsible gaming and control.
✔️ Mexico attended the summit led by the Director General of Games and Lotteries of the Ministry of the Interior (SEGOB), highlighting the nation's current status as a center of attraction.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of Gaming & Technology Expo, states: “In this context, we reiterate that the GAT Events Circuit is aligned point by point with the jurisdictions and locations included in our 2025 route. Mexico City opens its doors to us on August 27 and 28, GAT Expo Bogotá returns with a vengeance on September 25, we will debut in Puerto Rico on October 28 and 29, and close out the year in Santo Domingo on November 12 and 13. Every contact made, every relationship strengthened, translates into concrete actions. The ties with the Peruvian industry have been renewed through the friends of SONAJA and the many personalities whom we have once again extended our sincere greetings. I sincerely thank José Ángel Fernández for the magnificent opportunity he has given us, inviting us to participate in this summit.”

With over 26 years of experience, from Colombia to Latin America, GAT Events will continue to promote the development of regulated markets through its international events circuit, which includes trade shows, excellent academic programming, and specialized networking.
