(Argentina, SoloAzar Exclusive).- During the last edition of SAGSE Latin America, Diego Mejia, LatAm Business Manager JCM Global, spoke in exclusive with SoloAzar. “SAGSE is an important show for JCM, and we are fully committed to the gaming industry across Latin America”, he said.
What did you exhibit at SAGSE Buenos Aires?
SAGSE was a very successful show for JCM. We met with current and potential customers from across Latin America, and we showed our landmark iVIZION, UBA, and DBV-500 bill validators. Because security is of paramount importance to operators, the advanced sensing and anti-stringing technologies in our bill validators remain critically important features to our customers. We also showed our ICB 3.0 Intelligent Cash Box drop management system, which is field-proven to save operators hundreds of thousands of dollars annually. Attendees were also interested in our advanced GEN5 thermal printer, and its many capabilities, including intelligent ticket handling for TITO and promotional couponing. Our PromoNet 2.0 floor-wide couponing solution works hand-in-hand with GEN5 to deliver the right promotion to the right customer at the right time. We also showed our BlueWaveDX firmware upload tool. Its high-speed data transfer streamlines the firmware upload process. Off the tradeshow floor, we conducted our annual training for slot techs. Our experts gave hands-on training on iVIZION, GEN5, and the GEN2U thermal printer.
How did you see this edition of SAGSE on its 25th anniversary? What is the importance for the company to participate in this show?
The 25th anniversary made this a special edition, and the organizers should be complimented for the great work they did. SAGSE is an important show for JCM, and we are fully committed to the gaming industry across Latin America. We have customers throughout the region, and each year SAGSE provides us with an excellent opportunity to meet with existing customers, hear their feedback, and to meet with potential new customers.
What was the feedback from the public?
We had very good interactions with existing and potential new customers, and we also had great participation from our various distributors in the different markets. These discussions went beyond gaming to the other industries we serve with our technologies, including Banking, Financing, Retail, and other commercial applications.
What is the position of the company in Argentina in particular and in Latin America in general?
JCM is fortunate to have excellent customer relationships in Argentina and across Latin America. Our customers count on us to provide the first line of defense against counterfeiters and other types of cheats, while also helping them to deepen connections with their customers. We take those expectations seriously, and we continually invest in our R&D processes to ensure we deliver on our promise to our customers.
What is your assessment of this year?
2017 has been a good year for JCM in LatAm and in Argentina, where we have noticed a positive change in the business client over the past several months, driven by positive steps taken by the government to create a friendlier business climate.
What are the expectations and goals for the next year?
The first priority for JCM and for our customers is to maintain the highest levels of security, and we will continue to work diligently to stay at least one step ahead of criminals and the ways they attempt to exploit technology.
