On 22 August, at 11 am, the SBC is hosting the webinar 'Brazil after 1 January 2025: what changes and how do the rules of the game stand?', presented by Pay4Fun, for a discussion on the most talked about topic in the industry today.
"The long-awaited start of a 100% regulated betting industry in Brazil takes place on 1 January 2025, at midnight. What changes after that? And what is the situation of the new regulated market for the year 2025?" set out the panel.
Pay4Fun panel, is made up of Leonardo Baptista (CEO and Co-founder, Pay4Fun), Magnho José (Editor of BNL Data and President of IJL), Bárbara Teles (Regulatory and Government Relations Lawyer, Rei do Pitaco) and Ronaldo Kos (Head LatAm, IDnow), moderated by journalist Isadora Marcante, from SBC Notícias Brasil. They will debate the following topics:
- What will the regulated industry look like after 1 January? What about the unregulated?
- How will customer registration work?
- How will operators and service/payment providers create KYC processes?
- What will be the process for payments and the prevention of money laundering?
The proposal is to answer the questions: What will the regulated industry look like after 1 January? How will customer registration work? How will operators and service/payment providers create KYC processes? What will the process be for payments and the prevention of money laundering? What marketing regulations will be in place and what are operators' likely marketing strategies now that the Welcome Bonus will no longer be allowed?
With all these questions about payments, betting, onboarding, marketing - and much more - in the .bet.br environment, the aim is to get answers, clarification, debate (and even more questions) in this one-hour webinar.
