Serbia´s Bright Gaming Future
⏱ 2 min read
(Espelkamp).- Having run annually since 2007, but suffering a Covid cancellation in 2020, the Serbian gaming community's exhibition was back for 2021 and with its exceptionally appropriate title for these times, FUTURE GAMING BELGRADE. Merkur Gaming, together with its local partners, were present as exhibitors and brought a strong team and a dazzling product array to excite and enthuse the large crowd of visitors that packed the expo hall from the moment the doors were officially opened.
Merkur Gaming's exceptionally strong brand recognition and proven success in Serbia, and across the entire Balkan region, ensured that Future Gaming Belgrade was extremely busy as customers old and new crowded the booth and saw for themselves the diverse product range that was on show.
The Allegro Trio slant top cabinet, featuring the latest HD multigame technology platform, was a major attraction, as was the Avantgarde Max Duo and its big brother, the Avantgarde Max Trio (both featuring virtually edgeless 31.5" displays) all highlighting the latest multigame collections of favourite games that demanded close attention.

The Link Zone, Merkur's mystery jackpot solution, proved popular, as did the RTG Ring presentation, shown in Belgrade in the Avantgarde Duo cabinet, and kept the booth's staff fully occupied as former customer relationships were re-established and important new connections were made.
Money handling specialists GeWeTe also reflected on a very successful show in Belgrade. The company presented its bestseller products Cash Center Compact, Cash Center Compact Casino and Cash Center Premium and was pleased that the response from customers was excellent.
"Especially with our new debit card solution (ATM function), that can be used in all of our systems, we were able to attract many customers to our solutions," said GeWeTe CEO Aristidis Tsikouras.
Merkur Gaming's Chief Executive, International, Sakis Isaakidis, was delighted with both the show's presentation and the performance of his team. He said: "It has been a very real pleasure to visit Belgrade again and to see how Belgrade Future Gaming has been a pointer to the gradual re-opening of live B2B events that is starting to take place. Being able to have supplier companies and their customers meet up safely and in-person is great news for the entire industry and is a clear sign that things are at last starting to get better. For Merkur Gaming, this was an excellent show. We were able to meet with customers, make new connections and see for ourselves how Serbian gaming has progressed over the last couple of years. The country's gaming venues have been updated considerably and now rank as some of the most attractive venues for those players who rightly demand the highest standards of décor and customer service. All through the expo and across Serbia, gaming has a smile on its face once again and Merkur Gaming congratulates the organizing team of Future Gaming Belgrade on an excellent show that ticked all the boxes for exhibitors and visitors alike."
