(Buenos Aires, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Daniel Placeres, General Manager of SIELCON, spoke with SoloAzar during SAGSE Buenos Aires, where the company presented its new products. "We expected the presence of people but exceeded expectations," he said.
"This year, as is characteristic of SIELCON, that our strength is the manufacture of roulette equipment and casino games and online control systems, in the case of roulettes we are presenting a version of the multi-level progressive, Mystery, and a Restyling of the roulette slot with an animation of a croupier live, which makes the game very attractive and the cadence of the game is very good. The number of games per hour is more than reasonable and gives the team a lot of productivity," Daniel Placeres said on the last day of the fair.
With respect to online systems, the firm presented BD Casino, the new online control system. "Our customers could see here all the new interface that has the new online control system. I estimate that by the end of the year, at the beginning of 2019, it will be installed as an upgrade to the previous SOL 2000 online system. This new report interface is optimized to be viewed on different platforms. It can be seen on a cell phone, on a tablet, on a PC, and can adapt to monitor formats more comfortably than previous versions, and apart from that it has new reports, it is a new data engine to be able to generate customized reports for the client and a more friendly and comfortable interface to work with," he added.
When asked about the balance of SAGSE 2018, he commented: "We had an expectation that was greatly exceeded by the number of meters it has, which is smaller than previous years. We expected the presence of people but exceeded expectations. There were many more people three days than we thought. Most of the operations that were made are suitable for a new change in Argentina with respect to the currency, but we had many operators from neighboring countries that did come and set us operations to do, and obviously we have to continue developing. "
Regarding Argentina, he added: "We have to change a little the rules of the business we are going to do, but the possibilities are always there. We have a strong team that has been working for more than 25 years and that supports our products and operations."
Finally, he analyzed the current situation in the Argentine market: "It is complex to analyze, and the vision we had before the exchange of the currency was one, and now we have to wait a little longer. In general, the market in Argentina is contracting. It will not disappear because the demand for gambling in the country continues to grow, and as a counterpart, there are no expansions of operations. With which, with the operations as they are they have to tend to perfect themselves, to polish all the details to be able to maintain a reasonable profitability. The change of the currency positions us in Argentina a little better, within the options that the operators have. But it is still too recent to know how this will develop in the coming months," he concluded.
