SIGMA CEO anticipates the novelties for the upcoming show
⏱ 2 min read
(Malta,SoloAzar Exclusive).- Erman Pulis, CEO of SIGMA, talks about the novelties at the upcoming sixth edition of SiGMA, which will take place between the 27th and 29th of November 2019, at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali.
What are the main novelties at upcoming SIGMA show this year?
SiGMA ’19 will be bigger than ever, with more delegates, exhibitors, and affiliates all housed in one place than ever before! We’ve got a greater focus on Asia at this year’s event, and we’ll be welcoming plenty of newcomers to the show from the eastern hemisphere, all in anticipation of our new show in Manila, taking place in June 2020. We’re expanding across continents to bridge different markets, and to take SiGMA to a global audience, so expect lots of fantastic new opportunities to open up in the Far East. We’ll also be looking at innovation in the iGaming sector as we move into a new decade.
What will be the main issues to be treated at SIGMA series of conferences?
We have a fantastic line-up of speakers for conferences and workshops. We’ll be looking at topics including regulation and compliance, AI & Blockchain in iGaming, Payments & Fintech, Affiliates & CMO's, as well as disruptive innovation shaping the future of the industry.
Our speakers will include Hon. Joseph Muscat (Prime Minister, Government of Malta), Healthcliff Farrugia (CEO of Malta Gaming Authority), Jesper Svensson (CEO, Betsson Group), Paul Marcantonio (Head of UK & Western Europe, ECOMMPAY), Samuel Barrett (Director of Gaming, Trustly), and many more!
What will be the main highlights in terms of presentation of products or market trends?
As iGaming becomes more mainstream we are seeing so many new products come to market - Blockchain based casinos, hyper casual betting games, fantasy sports at a new level and eSports all colliding to bring new ways of playing to an evolving millennial audience.
Hyper casual games in particular are an area to keep an eye on – TronBet’s Moon is such an example, with a simple game mechanic integrated with crypto, and this game is absolutely smashing it at the moment. It’s the future!
Beyond these experiential innovations, massive strides have also been made in logistical areas, such as player protection and KYC procedures, both examples of the many benefits that the sector is seeing from integration of blockchain and AI processes to the iGaming ecosystem.
How many exhibitors and attendees do you expect?
SiGMA’19 will be the busiest show yet, offering 12,500 delegates the chance to network with leaders in the iGaming industry, strike deals with the biggest brands, engage the leading suppliers, and secure support from the affiliates that matter. This edition of SiGMA will take place between the 27th to 29th November in Malta, with visitors from more than 80 countries shaping the global iGaming sector for 2020 and beyond.
