SiGMA World 2027 Moves Rome Event to May

A more balanced European event calendar

SiGMA Group has confirmed that the 2027 edition of SiGMA World in Rome will move to May. The decision follows requests from clients, exhibitors and industry partners for a more evenly distributed calendar of major European gaming events.

With this adjustment, the company aims to establish approximately four-month intervals between its three main European events in Rome, Barcelona and Lisbon.

The objective is to give businesses more time to prepare their participation, plan budgets, engage with clients and maximise their return on investment.

Commenting on the decision, SiGMA Group Founder Eman Pulis said: “We have listened and taken the bold decision to move our show to May. We've taken this decision in the best interest of the industry.”

The organisation highlighted that clients and partners have called for a schedule that provides sufficient time to prepare, participate and generate greater value from each event.

The aim is to ensure that every summit remains a major industry occasion rather than becoming another date in an overcrowded calendar.

Moving the event to May will also allow SiGMA to benefit from more favourable weather conditions and significantly expand its outdoor presence in Rome.

The company plans to triple its outdoor footprint in 2027, creating a larger festival environment with additional space for networking, entertainment, hospitality and community activities.

The expanded format will bring together business, professional networking and entertainment on a larger scale, reinforcing SiGMA World's position as a major international gathering for the gaming industry.

The rescheduling of Rome is part of a wider review of SiGMA's international event calendar, aimed at improving event planning and aligning its schedule with market developments and industry demand.
