Strategic Networking Beyond the Booth: The Padel Tournament Taking Place During SBC Malta

(Lisbon).- Within the global iGaming ecosystem, in-person events remain one of the key drivers behind new commercial agreements, technology partnerships, and long-term collaborations. Yet an increasing number of industry professionals recognise that the strongest connections are often built outside the formal setting of exhibition stands and conference halls.
Against this backdrop, a new initiative proposes a different dynamic during SBC Summit Malta 2026: the Timeless Passion Padel Tournament – Malta Edition 2026.
A Natural Evolution of Industry Networking
The project builds on the experience of the first tournament organised in Barcelona ahead of ICE, where industry professionals gathered for a day that combined competitive sport with informal networking.
The outcome was clear. Interaction between operators, providers, and industry partners happened naturally, driven by the relaxed atmosphere that sport creates.
Padel, in particular, has proven to be an ideal format for this type of gathering. It allows participants to maintain a competitive spirit while encouraging conversation and connection between matches.
The Malta Edition
The new edition of the tournament will take place during SBC Summit Malta week, once again bringing together professionals from across the iGaming ecosystem.
