(Cartagena de Indias, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Oscar Giralt, Corporate Marketing Manager, Win Systems, granted an interview to SoloAzar a few days before the start of GAT, to talk about the news presented by the firm and the current situation in the gaming sector , among other topics. "It's time to generate enthusiasm again and to rebuild the loyalty of the players," he assured.
What expectations do you have for the GAT fair and what novelties will you present?
The Colombian market has shown an incredible desire to recover and return to activity. It is something that we could perceive in the success of the face-to-face events last year, and in the level of investment and development of our sector after the reopening. It is logical that now the operators bet on the brands that players appreciate the most, it is time to re-generate illusion and to rebuild player loyalty. And that is precisely our expectation for GAT: together with GOLDEN GAMING SAS, which is our exclusive distributor in the country, we want to continue alongside Colombian operators, offering them the Gold Club electronic roulettes that are the ones that set the trend in this market, as well as the fantastic ST3 and Rhapsody cabinets that are having a great acceptance with their games and progressives, and of course WIGOS, the leading casino management system in Latin America and already #4 worldwide.
How do you see the current situation of the Colombian gaming market in particular, and Latin America in general?
Undoubtedly, the pandemic has hit this sector very hard (like so many others, unfortunately), there have been many months without activity in face-to-face casinos, while online gambling has continued to grow in parallel. This generated a complicated scenario at the time of the reopening, there was a logical consolidation process, but we believe that the situation has already been normalizing, and the main objective of the operators (and therefore, also ours) is once again the to offer the best gaming experience. This is a strong, dynamic, professionalized sector, and we have no doubt that it will continue to be so.
What are the main objectives of the company and what new challenges do you face this year?
At Win Systems we are convinced that the best way to face this stage after the hard blow of the pandemic is by offering even better products and solutions. The key is to focus 100% on maximizing the gaming experience. For this, we have not stopped incorporating the best talent in the company, and we have developed new products and concrete solutions that are really ambitious in all our Divisions: Systems, Gaming, Lotteries, as well as important projects at a corporate level. We will be showing all these novelties throughout the year, in fact we are already starting with the first big projects. We feel that we are once again on the path of growth and that we can continue with our ambitious strategic plan.
