“The Nord Legends game itself was one of our most anticipated releases at ICE Barcelona”: Rocio Moitino, Air Dice
⏱ 3 min read
(Barcelona, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Rocío Moitino, Air Dice Sales Director, shares her experience as an exhibitor at the first edition of ICE held last week in Barcelona. She said that one of the biggest highlights for the firm was the unveiling of its new stand theme, Nord Legends. She also weighed discussions about the evolution of LATAM regulations as one of the most relevant themes treated within the series of conferences.
ICE Barcelona: Significant Networking for Air Dice
“ICE Barcelona 2025 was an exceptional event for Air Dice. As the first edition in this new location, expectations were high, and the event certainly delivered. The organization was outstanding, and the quality of attendees made it a highly productive tradeshow for us”, said Rocio Moitino”, Air Dice Sales Director, who added that the new location brought fresh energy to the industry and ensured meaningful conversations and business opportunities. “We had the chance to strengthen relationships with existing partners while also engaging with new operators and stakeholders, particularly from the LATAM market. The event reaffirmed the importance of face-to-face interactions in our industry, where building trust and understanding each client’s unique needs is key to long-term success.”
New Air Dice stand theme: Nord Legends
”One of the biggest highlights for Air Dice at ICE Barcelona was the unveiling of our new stand theme, Nord Legends, which also marks the launch of our latest game with the same name. This year, we moved away from our 2024 Western-inspired theme to embrace the mystique of Nordic culture. Every element of our stand was carefully designed by our creative team to transport visitors into a world of legendary northern warriors, rich mythology, and breathtaking landscapes”, said Moitino.
“The Nord Legends game itself was one of our most anticipated releases at the show, and we received incredibly positive feedback from operators looking for immersive storytelling combined with cutting-edge game mechanics. LATAM markets—especially Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia— showed great interest in our portfolio, as they seek differentiated content that aligns with local preferences and regulatory frameworks.”

Latam regulations, a key issue within ICE 2025 conferences and panels
Moitino pointed that ICE Barcelona provided a great platform for discussions on key industry topics, from regulatory updates to emerging technologies. “The exchange of ideas between operators, providers, and regulators was particularly valuable, as it highlighted the industry's commitment to innovation, compliance, and responsible gaming. The discussions about the evolution of LATAM regulations were among the most relevant themes.”
Focus on player-centric experiences, a key trend
”The industry is moving towards an even stronger focus on player-centric experiences”, she remarked, adding that Hyper-personalization, powered by AI and data analytics, will continue to shape the way operators engage with their audiences. “Additionally, localization is key—understanding cultural nuances and player behavior in each market is essential for long-term success, especially in a diverse region like LATAM. Companies that can adapt quickly to these evolving demands will have a competitive edge.”
LATAM iGaming, a top issue for ICE
When asked about the impact of ICE Barcelona for the LATAM region, she answered that ICE Barcelona reinforced the strategic importance of Latin America in the global iGaming industry. She said that the high level of engagement from LATAM stakeholders demonstrated that the region continues to be a priority for operators and suppliers. “Brazil, in particular, is at the center of many discussions, given its regulatory developments and market potential. It was clear that companies are focused on finding the right approach to navigate the new landscape and capitalize on the opportunities ahead.”
Spain: Gambling Regulations and market challenges
She then spoke about how Air Dice manages to comply with Spanish regulations considering its fragmented regulatory framework. “At Air Dice, we see it as an opportunity to refine our approach and deliver tailored solutions. Our strong focus on compliance and flexibility allows us to adapt our products to the specific requirements of each autonomous community. Beyond regulatory aspects, our success in any market relies on building close relationships with our clients. Understanding their needs, challenges, and goals enables us to provide solutions that not only comply with regulations but also enhance the player experience.”
Upcoming tradeshows in Brazil for Air Dice
”Our next major events will be the SBC Summit Rio and BIS SiGMA Americas in São Paulo. These are particularly important given the recent regulatory advancements in Brazil. With the new legal framework in place, the country is poised to become one of the largest and most dynamic iGaming markets in the world.
”For Air Dice, participating in these events goes beyond showcasing our products—it’s about building and strengthening relationships. The human aspect of our industry remains fundamental. By engaging directly with operators, regulators, and partners, we can better understand their challenges and ensure that our solutions meet the particularities of each market”, she concluded.
