´Today, Betcris is in full relaunch in Peru´: Ana María Padrós, Betcris

How have you experienced this new edition of PGS?

With great enthusiasm and gratitude for having already passed the most complicated stage of the pandemic. I've seen people I haven't seen for a long time, I've hugged them, I think there's a lot of effervescence of good humor due to this great joy that it is to see each other again, to meet again personally. Very excited indeed.

How is the company positioned in Peru and in Latam in general?

Today, Betcris in Peru is in full relaunch. For many years, fifteen, we were in another business model, now we are with a strong advertising investment to position the brand well. This is a very competitive market, therefore, a great effort must be made to remain among the first, and that is our path.

At the Latin American level, Betcris is very well positioned. It is one of the best brands on the market. We are present in many countries, and in each of them a "tropicalized" strategy is being developed. However, the brand gives us an important umbrella throughout the region.

The bill that regulates gambling and online sports betting in Peru continues to advance. What expectations do the company have regarding the future of the sector?

Indeed the subject of the law is advancing. All the companies related to the games of chance sector expect a correct regulation. That is why we are all advocating for the best law to come out. The idea is that you can compete in this market under a law that protects both the investment and the player. A regulation enables that the player is safer and so the company, since today we regulate ourselves, but with adequate regulation we are going to have some other controls that ensure the legitimacy of this business. So we welcome the regulation.

What are the company's plans for the rest of this year?

We continue to be very strongly committed to relaunching, to developing Arequipa, with the sponsorship of Melgar, we also have a lot of work in the casino vertical, to develop it well, and we will surely be present at all the events in the region. In short, we expect to keep on growing.
