(London).- The Totally Gaming Academy, widely regarded as the pre-eminent training and development resource in the international industry, will be using ICE London (6 - 8 February, ExCeL Centre, London, UK) to launch its latest course, the Responsible Gaming Academy.

Totally Gaming Academy launch Responsible Gaming course at ICE London

During ICE, attendees will have the opportunity to experience 45-minute free to attend taster sessions covering the new course as well as Slot Academy; Table Games Academy; Affiliate Management Academy; Online Gaming Masterclass; Online Slot Development Academy; Sportsbook Management Academy; Lottery Academy; Anti-Money Laundering Academy; Online Genius Bar; Sportsbetting & Lottery Genius Bar; and, Land Based Genius Bar.  All of the taster sessions are being held in the Totally Gaming Academy Theatre located at S9–260.

Led by Arno Nagelschmied, former Head of Responsible Gaming at ADMIRAL Casinos & Entertainment AG, who has more than 26 years gaming industry experience, the course has been curated to deliver the bottom line on why gaming companies who embrace social responsibility will succeed commercially. Expanding on the latest Academy course, Nagelschmied explained: “For many people in our industry, responsible gaming is still a subject they are not familiar with, and they view it as a topic to tackle only when they experience pressure from authorities or society dictates. Due to this, strategies created do not give you the freedom to define your own and authentic way of responsibility in a sustainable way. Training is essential to turn what’s often seen as a ‘necessary evil’, imposed by legislators – into a virtue – a USP.”

The Totally Gaming Academy Responsible Gaming course will examine real case studies illustrating how legal changes have had a positive influence on the running of a business, whilst also explaining the major challenges facing the industry. Nagelschmied continued: “Taking responsibility has a lot to do with looking at your business from a different perspective and probably trying to scrutinise old patterns: I see this as one of the biggest opportunities for our industry. Attendees on the course will take away new confidence, awareness, knowledge and a different mind-set.”

Following its launch by Clarion Gaming in July 2015, The Totally Gaming Academy has completed its 100th course, trained 1,500 industry professionals, worked with 100 client organisations and completed courses in 25 countries across five continents.
