WorldMatch showcased brand new slot machine games at ENADA Spring

What did the firm exhibit in the latest edition of the show?

This year we came to ENADA Rimini with a set of brand new slot machine games, which are the result of a collaboration, with some of the most important Italian retail content provider.

Worldmatch has the exclusive to distribute their top performing titles of the land based market to the Italian online operators.

How did you see the 31st edition of ENADA?

For a content provider like Worldmatch which has been in the Italian market since its origin it is always very important to take part to this event.

What is the position of the company in the Italian market? And in the European market?

Worldmatch is an Italian company and we have been in this market since its origin, I can say without any doubt that we hold a very strong position, but we have been growing a lot abroad in the last years strengthening our name and our position in many other markets.

What are your plans for this year?

We want to keep on growing also in all other regulated markets were we already work and hold a licence. Particularly Spain and Colombia, where next month our teams will attend to the exhibition in Madrid and Bogotà.

But we are also finalizing the UKGC licence and after that we will work on the SRIJ.

What is the current status of the gaming sector in Italy?

It's evolving and it depends a lot on if you are looking at the retail or online market.

As everybody knows the low has changed, there are some more restriction and a new taxation regime, but finally on the online markets there will be soon about 70 new operators which ADM has granted the licence.

How does the current tax situation affect the sector? Should modifications be made?

Taxation has increased from 20% to 25%, for sure that is going to have a relevant impact on the revenue generated by the stakeholder.

How does the prohibition of advertising of bookmakers in the country affect (or not)?

This could be a problem for the new operators which will have to enter a mature market.

We think that Worldmatch could help them a lot to find their way, as we are the only online casino games content provider that can offer a wide amount of  top retail performing titles which can help attract new players from the retail markets to the online one.
