(London).- YGAM, the charity that works to educate and safeguard young people against problematic gambling and social gaming enjoyed what co-founder and CEO, Lee Willows described as an ‘exceptional' edition of ICE London.

YGAM salutes its supporters at ´exceptional´ ICE London

The charity which has ambitious targets to engage with 600,000 young and vulnerable people in 2020 and jointly deliver at least one session of gambling awareness to all 11-19 year olds in the country by 2024 in collaboration with GamCare, supported by the Betting & Gaming Council, used ICE London as an opportunity to present its own YGAM awards to some of its supporting organisations which are drawn from across the gambling landscape.

Addressing the YGAM supporters who were able to attend the presentation, which was held on the middle day of ICE London, Lee said: "As YGAM's principle supporters as well as our long-standing friends, I am delighted on behalf of everyone associated with YGAM, not least our Founding Patrons, Anne and Keith Evans, to present you with these glass engraved plaques which serve as a small gesture of our appreciation for all your fantastic support.

“2020 is YGAM’s sixth anniversary and one which is well worth celebrating as we build and develop the team from our current total of 26 to 42 by the end of Q1. The Consumer Protection Zone (CPZ) at ICE London provides a wonderful platform to raise awareness of our work and to explain our social purpose. I believe it is the ideal size and the location opposite the VIP area is superb. The sum raised by the CPZ sponsors was phenomenal and it was fitting to split the money three ways with our colleagues at GamCare and the Gordon Moody Association.

“Lastly I would like to say how proud we are to be a part of this show and to say a huge thanks to Clarion Gaming managing director Kate Chambers and her colleagues Ewa Bakun and Sadie Walters. Clarion provided us with our first platform, it was one of our very first supporters and it has done so much to champion player protection – for that we will be forever grateful. Like everyone else involved in the gambling space, we’ve got the 2021 dates in the diary and booked the hotel!”

The list of supporters who received a YGAM plaque in recognition of their support comprised: Betting & Gaming Council, bet365, Betway, Betvictor, Betknowmore UK, Breakeven, Bet on Ascot, Bede gaming, Bacta, Caesars Entertainment, Clarion Gaming, Flutter, Gamesys, Genting, GVC, GamCare, Gordon Moody, Gambling Business Group, Gambling Compliance, Hippodrome Casino, Ivor Thomas Amusements, Jenningsbet, Kindred, KMPG, KnowNow, Lottoland, Microgaming, Novomatic, Playtech, SBC, Scott & Jones Communications, Senet Group, Sky Betting & Gaming, Silcock Leisure, SiGMA, Regulus Partners, William Hill, and, Videoslots.
