(Peru, exclusive SoloAzar).- While preparing to participate in the Peru Gaming Show 2024, which will take place in Lima on June 12 and 13, we spoke with Joe López, CEO of AMG. In this interview, López tells us his high expectations regarding this new edition of the event and provides details about the growth of the Peruvian gaming market.
For Joe López this new edition of the PGS 2024 is not going to be just another one. In fact, he is excited and explains that “We hope that this 21st edition will be the best presentation of all time” and continues “The Peruvian market is very attractive for the industry and with the validity of the Law and the approval of the regulations for the remote gaming, sports betting and online gaming, the number of companies interested in entering this market has increased tremendously. Proof of this is that by the end of March, 175 companies in this line of business had submitted applications to operate in Peru. In this context, two months in advance, the exhibition spaces offered by PGS in the main venue have been sold throughout the area.”
A few days ago you announced an expansion of the exhibition area due to high demand from companies. What can you add about this?
An important fact worth mentioning is that, with the success of last year, many of the companies that participated in the 2023 show booked their spaces for this 2024 edition. At this time the main showroom is completely reserved. In order to accommodate and meet the request of new companies, we have expanded the showroom and from what we see, this will fill up as well.

With the exponential growth of sports betting and online gaming, affiliates and other business verticals, we are contacting and agreeing with experts in those areas for presentations of the highest level at this PGS 2024.”
Among the main topics of interest that the conference will cover, AMG's CEO highlights: Payment methods for online games, Artificial Intelligence and its future in the gaming industry, strategies for establishing a sports betting program, as “Sports betting and online games are operating in other markets whose activity has been established for some time, marketing and its effectiveness in the gaming sector, responsible gaming, and a summary of the development of our industry in Peru.”
Finally, we couldn't leave out the fun factor and asked Joe to tell us something about this year's welcome party. In this regard, he tells us that “As has been customary at PERU GAMING SHOW - PGS since its inception, on the first day of the show we will have a spectacular night of pure fun. A super nightclub with live music, snacks, a bar".
