⏱ 2 min read
(Las Vegas).- Aruze Gaming America, Inc. (“Aruze”) is pleased to announce that they have expanded their sales offices to Latin America and the Caribbean. This new division will focus on offering product and services to this area. Aruze had previously been represented in these regions by an excellent network of distributors, who Aruze thanks for their support. Aruze plans to phase in direct factory support over the next 6 to 12 months.
Justin Arcemont, Managing Director of Global Sales for Aruze Gaming, states, “The Latin America and Caribbean markets are key to Aruze’s growth plans in 2019 and we are very excited to bring the markets under our umbrella.”
To support this new endeavor, Aruze is also excited to appoint Michael Snyder as Vice President and General Manager of Latin America and the Caribbean. As Vice President and General Manager, effective August 6th, 2018, Michael will oversee Aruze’s operations in the new territories. His responsibilities will cover Business Development, Sales Strategies, Marketing, Product and Service functions.
Justin adds, “I am very confident that Mike’s expertise will give Aruze the guidance needed to meet and exceed our goals.”
Michael’s career in the gaming industry spans over 30 years, most recently as an owner and operator in various properties in Ecuador, Peru, Columbia, Mexico, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Michael’s gaming career started in 1984. His responsibilities revolved around providing electronic table games, sign technology and Keno equipment worldwide in such markets as the United States, Australia and Asia. Michael entered into the slot market as the Midwest General Manager for Casino Data Systems (“CDS”) in 1997. Following the acquisition of CDS by Aristocrat Technologies in 2001, Michael relocated to Florida where he held the position of General Manager of Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2004, Michael left the supplier side of the industry to venture into the operations side in Latin America. Throughout his entire involvement in Latin America he has built and maintained fantastic relationships with many of the market leaders. In 2017, Michael retired from his businesses in Latin America and returned to the United States.
Throughout Michael’s career, he has built several “startup” companies both inside and outside the gaming industry. Michael has served 23 years in the United States Air Force/Air National Guard where he was decorated for his service during the first Gulf War.
Aruze is confident about their growth in these jurisdictions under the leadership of Michael Snyder. “This is one more important step towards growing Aruze into a dominant market leader,” says Eric Persson, Aruze Gaming’s Global Chief Operating Officer and President of Aruze Gaming America.
